And the Muslims of Turkish origin in Thrace have schools in turkish language and their representatives in the Greek Parliament too, in the two big major parties....what more do you think they need...? Many minorites around the world would wish to have their fate and conditions of life....
I won't continue the thing with the Greeks in Turkey...Its getting annoying...its very recent to pretend that nothing happened...memories are still alive... go ask the real Konstantinopolites Turks....
Greeks in Polis were very wealthy and very high level people... and you say that they left due to economic reasons? Kardash...these people could not imagine their lives without Polis...even today when you meet a Politis he always talks about the city, even his children... Maybe that wealth was an extra reason for their extermination... history have many analogous examples...when the poor hamal takes advantage of a chaotic situation and attacks to his ex efendi...

There are 15.000 Rums in Turkey, and most of the Rums emigrated to European/Western countries between 1950-1980 period. Firstly there aren't 15000 Romioi in Turkey...they are maximum 5.000 old men and women... And they just "emigrated"...in order from a important community of 120.000 Greeks then to have today less than 5.000... Some things happened meanwhile... And I suppose you know how many Muslims there were in Thrace in '20s and how they're today.................... According to a 2008 report prepared for the National Security Council of Turkey, there are 15.000 Greco-Rums living in Turkey.
