Clearly the only person confused here is you.Ever heard of morals..... think about it for a minute.... What you're saying is if one is an atheist and adheres to the western culture she should grind her ass on your crotch.... Reread your post.... As for those earlier girls... that won't 'hump'..guess who makes up the prostitute and night club population of Athens? I laughed so hard at that man, he's basically telling us because we're western we should fuck with someone daily, have no tradition, no morals, honor or dignity. WOW!!

Because they are waiting for guys that are no longer part of this reality. They think that they will find someone who can take them back to their traditions and continue to be insecure in the modern world. There is little personal choice involved in what they are doing. They excuse it, like I said before, just like a Muslim woman who wears the scarf. she argues 'its my choice'... but when really its not... its her obligation that she feels through her faith.
Most of these girls are the same, they feel that they have certain obligations yet they try and rationalize them.

Okay, Toskali, but what if you choose your own faith instead of having it imposed on you? Then you also choose the obligations that go with it, yes?
I also don't entirely agree that those type of guys aren't part of reality anymore. Sure, they're not easy to find but...there are still some there...

"Many Alb girls I know are 20-23 and still virgins, waiting for the proper guy." Girls say what Albanian guys wanna hear. But if Albanian guys are modern and all of that then the last thing they'd want is a virgin. What can they do with an ignorant virgin (not my view on virgin girls, by the way ;D)? They'd want someone with experience...someone who's already been "trained" by other men to be good in bed...right?

How many women, particularly Muslim women, have you run into who truly chose, and I mean actually chose, their faith?

Meaning they'll have sex with whatever comes their way. But when it comes to marriage, they want a "good" girl, preferably a virgin. Girls know this and play the good girl role to attract guys.

How many I've personally encountered? I'd say that I know probably as many women who could leave Islam if they wanted to as I know women who'd have a hard time doing it (but could do it if they kept their denounciation of Islam from their families. But they still don't do it so...I don't know). It's a hard question to answer because I don't know what they're thinking...not even my own female Muslim friends.

Aren't there guys like that everywhere? . It's definitely not just Albanians...people everywhere just like sex...which is great but...not when you lie and manipulate to get it - and become hypocritical about sex later on. One thing I REALLY hate are exactly those guys you just described; those who're total whores till it's time to settle down - then they want an untouched girl. It makes me so mad...and I don't get why the hell a virgin girl would give a man whore a thought. I'd have never considered getting married to a man who's had sex with others before me. No way in hell...

For women it's a bit different..... I also heard there is surgery done for women. Very popular in the Middle East......

There's not NO way to know, I wouldn't say . I know for a fact that my husband was a virgin until he met me...I put him through some "tests", haha ;D. I actually put my ex-boyfriends through the same "tests"...I don't think it's that hard to tell whether a guy is a virgin or not...not really. Yes, it's different for women but not that much. Unless we're talking about going to the doctor...then it'd be quite clear to tell whether or not a woman has had sex or not... Hmmm...yes, some women do undergo that surgery you're talking about...I don't know whether or not it's popular though. I know that a couple of my friends have had it...I actually went with one of them last year when she was having it. Not that I agreed with what she was doing but...she was really nervous about the procedure, and her fiancé (he knew she was getting it done) said he hates hospitals/clinics and blahblah...so I went instead. It seemed like an awful thing to choose to go through...damn...

Excuse my language, but its only a matter of tightness. I could see if the women was trying to hide her past, but the situation you explained is a bit weird IMO.

I'm only telling you if you're a woman ;D. And if you say you are one, I'll have to test you and see if you really are one ;D. IMO, too. He was a complete momma's boy and a wuss...it was, apparently, a tradition in his family to check if there's any blood on the sheet on the couple's wedding night . He didn't have the guts to tell his family to mind their own business...so my friend got it done to save her fiancé from having an arguement with his family. I told my friend that she should be really careful about a guy like that with a family like that. She realized it herself after his mother literally told her son to tell my friend that she couldn't wear such and such clothes anymore (even said she looked like a whore when she wore a skirt that went a few inches above her knee), that she shouldn't see that and that person/friend anymore. And her fiancé basically told her that she should just comply to his mother to avoid arguements .

I'm interested how a virgin would know if the guy had sex. I heard in Albania if the couple had sex before marriage, the husband would "cut" themselves to keep the women's honor. Barbaric ceremony btw. Showing the world how "pure" and "good" the wife is. Primitive mentality and I'm glad most Albanians are past the "bedsheet" act. No offense.

I would be interested too in your position ;D. Offence none taken...it is a horrible, ignorant, tradition that should've never existed in the first place. It's not fair to make girls believe that they SHOULD and NEEED to bleed on their first time . This tradition is so ingraved in girls that even those who know how their bodies work - those who know that they aren't necessarily going to bleed on their first time - they still worry about proving themselves as virgins to their husbands and to their families. Because they might still be hanging on to the idea that a girl must bleed on her first time. They can't exactly give them a biology book and tell their husbands and family to read the bit about the hymen and it's connection (or the lack of it) to blood. Oh, I work as an assisting psychologist at a public school...which is a great job but there are some big problems at that school. The biggest one being the relations between the guys and girls from 6th-8th grade. So it was decided that the guys and girls should be divided, 1 hour a week, and be able to talk to someone (my collegue (with the boys) et moi (with the girls)) about their thoughts and feelings about the guys' behaviour towards them and sex generally. I'm so glad that this initiative was taken because...I've only held these sessions 2 times and already feel like a lot of misconceptions have been killed. I'm really surprised about all the crazy, wrong information they walk around seriously believing. Such as you HAVE to bleed the first time...

For instance. A couple of Albanian girls dress very skanky and go to the club. They dance around with each other and have fun yet when it comes to talking to guys they sink back into their conservative culture. When sex becomes involved they cannot fully express themselves because they come from an inhibited culture of honor-shame complexes. Melty are you talking from experience here? Cause if you are this may just be a case of them being stuck up and not wanting to talk you rather than them not being w**res. Albanian girls are more selective when it comes to which guys they choose to talk to, you may have just not fit the profile of that guy for those two particular girls. I have a friend with similar issues, he has no problems talking to girls in clubs or dancing and hooking up with them but when it comes to Albanian girsl his record ain't that good.

Mostly from the times I was invited out with my cousins and their friends. They are pretty heavy Albanian. One of them broke up with their boyfriend of a few years because it was getting too close with a non Alb girl. I have watched them at night clubs. They are the type that rent out a room at a club just so they can isolate themselves from everyone else in the club.
Personally, I only hang out with Albanian girls and have never tried for one, reason enough is that they do not go anywhere with you until serious dating, which I find senseless. To wait so long to do something that is really nothing but a pleasurable act seems ludicrous.
