Alexander the Great didn't have Albanian orgin since the Albanian race didn't exist back. He had some Illyrian blood in his veins. Still he was a Greek since ancient Macedonia was a Greek kingdom. But I don't understand why Macedonia didn't invade Illyria (?) instead of turnings his forces south, except for the fact that he wanted to subdue Persia.

^ Shqiptars/Albs arrive to Serbia in 1081AD, so all of this is garbage! The Ancient Illyrians believed of God Serbon, Alexandar also believed in the sun god Serbon! Please do not forget that Alexander the Great took some aspects of the different cultures he conquered as his own and attempted to persuade his troops to do the same (i.e., Persian wifes and dress/).

Get your facts right, yes Avars did mix with Serbs, however, these became the nation we call Croatia!

How do you know that? Do you know anything about "Shqiperian lang"? - Doubt it!
Albanopolis it's in fact a "Greek" name written down by a Dorian named Herodotus by using the Ionian language and Phoenician letters.
Albanopolis is composed of two words:
1. Alban which stands for the the Illyrian tribe of Albans 2. Polis was the name for the city during classical times.
Albanopolis = The city of Albans.
--------------------------
This statement explains the origin of Chetincs.

And Macedonia is ..........?? The region in the Balkans under Philip II. Called Macedon, includes Macedonia, Thessaly, Paeonia, and Thrace. I also include Epirus as a non-conquered gain because they joined Macedon as an ally.

Yes but unfortunately there is no correlation between Albanopolis and Albanians today as your name first appears in the 11th century.
