Macedonia is #1! There's only one that is better, and it's to the east of MK. I agree that Bulgaria is better but I disagree that Macedonia is anywhere near # 1. It has a long way to go but it also has lots of potential.

The Slovenians seem to be investing quite heavily in Macedonia. They are planning to open twenty supermarkets called "Tus". Here's one they already built in Kumanovo back in 2008.

I' am posting buildings from other parts of Macedonia now, instead of just Skopje at the request of some members. Shopping mall in Gostivar. Construction began in early 2008 I think. 3d Render August 2008 Finished product in April 2010

Plaza Tetovo announced in, Tetovo of course. Construction has not begun yet but it's going to be huge. The biggest closed roof shopping center in Macedonia. www.plazatetovo.com.mk/Only computer renders so far.

Back to Skopje. Volvo and Ford are going to build a HUGE showroom for their cars. But it's going to be more than a showroom. From what I can gather, it's going to be the largest "self business center" in the Balkans. Whatever that means. 3d renderA small part of the Ford building was already built in 2008 But the rest is still being built June 2009September 2009January 2010March 2010 Still going
