Lara beach is nice, I was there year before last. I haven't been to that hotel, but if it's 5 star they are almost always the same. Very good service.

never been to that side of Antalya. I've been to Kemer, and it is nice. I've heard Lara is really nice as well.

Thanks, it will be quite interesting since I've never been around southern TR. Is the sea water still cold for swiming, begining of june? I will definately enjoy the delicious food anyway (and some nice pool parties).

It is warm at that time of year. I like hot sea though, I prefer July and Augustto go swimming in the sea. I went to Lara in Sept last year and it was lukewarm. Lara beach is really beautiful. I can't remember the name of the hotel but it was a 5 star set up like an old Ottoman palace. Be prepared for lots and lots and LOTTTTSS of Russians.

I havent been to this hotel. However, I go and stay in the region almost every summer. In Antalya, Kale (Kekova), Kas, Alanya, Side are my favorites. Alanya Side: Kekova Kas

Side isn't that great, especially the centre. Alanya eh...its ok.
I haven't been to kas but everyone tells me it is beautiful.

Minibus is cheaper. depends how far you are, but taxis generally rip off the tourists so beware of that kind of thing. If its a package there should be airport transfers provided, the hotel may also have thier own transfers look into it. I don't reallyadvise taxi unless you don't care about the money.

I was in Side 4 years ago or so, To be honest the place I styaed at was very beautiful. I didn't like the people working at the seaside though. You know down from the mountains people. It irritated me so much, I went and got a fake tattoo of a wolf on myarm, just tho they would stop talking to me in spanish and harrasing me. Grrr hate!

I want to go to Kas, if it lives up to my expectations then I'l be happy, but if not then I doubt il go to Antalya areas again. Im really bored of the scene there. I was great about 8 years ago, when lots of French, German and Italian tourists came, but the Russians they don't know how to holiday, and then you have the influx of the arab tourists for some reason too. Il be doing the Mugla area more often these days. I wonder if Bodrum is still the same place i used to go to in my younger days.

Since I live in ýstanbul, I prefer northern Aegean, I do not go to south every year, but at least once in two year period. I like Kalem Adasi, which is near Dikili. It is certainly a nice spot. I also like Assos and Bozcaada. Beware of Bozcaada. The water is very cold even in July. Ciftlik near Marmaris is also very nice spot to be. Another one is Datca. There are really nice places all around. If you go to Kas, you must swim at Kaputas Beach. Another nice spot. Seem like it is holiday time for me. ;D ;D ;D ;D
