No, it's not April 1. Don't ask me why or how it's here. I'm just giving my friends and heads-up... and if any of you are in the area, maybe we can hook up and have a drink. Or hopefully a bottle of cognac to forget the present.

Wait, you've settled there permanently? Why? The city which you abhor(red)?

Well, permanently is not the right word. I came here because it was my only chance to get a job in Ro... and it was the only way to move to Ro. I declined to 3 job offers in Denmark which would've paid at least twice at much. Anyway, to make it short, it's a lot worse than I imagined. Not the infrastructure, but the structure, the system and the people. At the moment, I'm intoxicated and fantasize about committing suicide. How can my own people be so moronic? If you're into misanthropy, you should definately come here: but not for vacation. Come here to deal with the beaurocracy and the people. I don't know what I've done to deserve this egony. I must've been Bulgarian in my past life.

Even the Greeks who were fortunate enough to escape communism haven't achieved nearly enough as they should have when having in mind the privileges they enjoyed and still enjoy and the lead they received, as the spoiled brat of the European Union that they are ... instead they are on the brink of economic collapse. Perhaps that is a comfort, what you have endured for a seemingly short period people endure in a lifetime. My advice to you, if it is such a psychological burden, is to return to Scandinavia. If you knew what sh!thole Bucarest was previously, why move there? Why not to Iasi, or some other place in Romania? Or accept the job offer in Denmark? Did you expect things had changed for the better ?

Hahahaha, sorry if I sound rude but I laughed out loud reading this. In what way is Romania bad though? Are the people really backward? Do they constantly ask you for money and stuff? Are the women hot at least?

Are the women hot at least? He is complaining about Bucharest which is the capital , not the country. He always had a pathological obsession against this city, which is hard to explain in a few words. One would need a medical chart rather than a simple explanation to understand him.

Do you think Bucharest will ever get anywhere? I mean, the people don't know how to work like Moldovans.

In what way is Romania bad though? Are the people really backward? Do they constantly ask you for money and stuff? The fact is, in Romania, if they identify you as beeing a foreigner (and they do), they ask for your money if you're lucky but usually they just steal your money then gangbang you. Sometimes the Romanians will put you in a big pot together with some vegetables and boil you slowly into some sort of soup called ”ciorbă de australopitec” then eat you. Poor Anitta.

Fantastic. Absolutely brilliant. I can almost smell Anitta's perfume while eating mici at Piaza Progresul.

I'm in Heraklion right now so i cant meet you. Maybe if you come to Greece. ;D

Ok, I'm still alive. AofG, I listened to La Familia's Bucuresti and altough it may be a bit amusing, I almost burst out in tears. It is so right on the money. The roles have changed: I no longer make fun of Bucharest--I now am a part of it.
I've had a few panick attacks where I started to hit my head with my fists and cursing in Swedish and Danish as I walked on the street. Things feel surrealistic and when I wake up and I still can't believe I'm here.
Altough to be fair, things are not that bad. People are not as rude as I expected, even though they sometimes react to my Moldavian accent. :S
What pains me the most is the younger generation: Pyrrhos was right when he said Romanians have "no soul" [he meant character]. People here believe in nothing: there is no ideologi, no activism, no sacrifice, no patriotism. The taxidrivers try to take advantage of you when they sense you're not from Bucharest. I always ask for the price first, but even then, they expect a decent tip.
At work, it is boring. My collegues are girls up to 26 years of age who act like 14 year olds (a few are alright--they are in another department, tho). If I were an old pervert like our friend from south of Danube, I might have found it attractive. I don't though. When they see me distanced, they come to me and say silly things... it's all so transparent. At the end of the day, I want to jump in the Dambovita.
The guys... a few are OK... but those that are OK are also in the other department. The two guys that are in my department are mavericks and players (smecheri)... complete morons that you can't have a decent discussion with, unless it's about tits and nice cars.
Oh, and it's a pain to be pescatarian in Romania. You rarely find vegetarian sandwitches.
I'll see how long I can last. That's all for now.

Well, I always thought that 26-year women are all right. You obviously need 65-70-year old professors to feel attracted by a woman. Good luck in your search. Just don't forget to warm up her milk before going to bed.

A population made by a great deal of opportunists in the biggest and richest city in the country ? Average Joes as co-workers in an average job ? Get out of here ! Your just making this up. I dont think that you can find those things anywhere in the world.
