Serbia will refuse an agreement with EU and US over Kosovo resolution
The government of Serbia will refuse an agreement with the EU and the US in relations to a UN General Assembly resolution draft, according to Belgrade media reports on Thursday.
(KosovoCompromise Staff) Thursday, August 12, 2010
According to a government source, there are three possible outcomes for Serbia's resolution draft.
The first one is the adoption of Serbia's draft, which Serbia's Foreign Affairs Minister Vuk Jeremic named "mission impossible".
The second would be non-adoption of the draft and the third would be a new resolution draft, crafted with the EU and the US.
Such a new version would take out any reference to possible status talks, which is the original demand of Belgrade.
The government source told the daily Press that huge pressures are expected on Belgrade to drop the resolution or seek agreement, but that it counts on the firm support of Russia, China, India, Brazil and other countries to support its position.

The best thing to do is to force Kosovo into a status quo. Therefore no new recognition and that Kosovo will continue to be blocked from joining any international organisations including sporting organisations. Countries such as Russia, China, India, Brazil, and other countries to veto Kosovo's entry and accession into international organisations. Also Kosovo cannot join many international organisations including sporting organisations since kosovo isn't a UN member so Kosovo will be left out of EU, UN, UN Organisatios/Sub Organisaions, OSCE, COE, OIC, OPEC, NATO, AL and any other international or sporting organisaions.
So Kosovo will remain as a status-quo, frozen conflict and a chance for later on in the future to take back Kosovo and eliminate the occupiers of Kosovo. Also NATO will not stay in Kosovo forever and the reduction of KFOR is evident to this. Also Tadic government will not always stay in power, sooner or later the tides are going to change and we might in the future see a SRS-DSS-NS-SPP-G!7 Plus coalition, however a possible coalition with Nikolic party can be possible if he and the SRS were to come to an agreement over Kosovo then i believe such a coalition might be possible.
