Novi Pazar, are you are a proper Muslim from that town in Serbia? Do you have your former skin buried somewhere in your backyard? Are you some sort of a relative to Pomaks in Bulgaria?

Guys just freaken admit your part non-indo-european ancestry, its stupid you guys have all these embarressing theories. Every single historian from around the world knows the BuLgari are Turkish, the problem is why are the Danube BuLgari ashamed of their mongol heritage?

As long as some ppl keep saying Thracian influence and ethnogenesis is insignificant, we are going to be known as mongos, turkics, tatars and irano-aliens. And the steppe-bulgar origin, of course, is best to stay "uncertain". The woman interviewed in that youtube above is sitting and saying that origin of steppe-bulgars is "uncertain", she can't say.. If one pretends he/she have the steppe-bulgar blood and genes, then this person should also know WHO and WHAT are the steppe proto-bulgars and not be ashamed to say it! Btw, I know my roots and folklore are local (non asian), and they are certainly not the ones of proto bulgars. My land is full of proofs about who lived and who left all traces here (and almost everywhere around today Bulgaria). My traditions, national costumes, songs and folkore, historical artefacts and so on and so forth.. do not come from proto steppe bulgars of Altai or from Volga.

At least half Bulgaria (west) has a huge "Serbian" feel into it. All the basic "exportable" folklor is "Sopski" (=Serbian). You ve been to Sofia only. You know only the capital (basically a mishmash of all regions of Bulgaria). Thus you can not separate Bulgaria into cultural zones because you ve been only in one place. Quit trying to sound like an expert on Bulgarians. You are far from it. The reality is: Bulgarians are the most homogenous nation on the Balkans (that includes the Macedonians too)! There are only slight regional differences from a region to a region. Basically everything is the same: language, grammer, folklore, way of life and thinking. The same can not be said of Serbia, half of which consist of Torlakia, where the language has such grammer rules that sets it apart from all Serbian speaking areas (Serbian proper which includes Western Serbia, Montenegro, Republika Srubska). It takes only an ousider with A GOAL who knows nothing about Bulgaria AND Bulgarians like Pyrro to come here and try to lecture us on some supposed cultural zones, while such indeed (and very very striking!!!) can be found in our neighbours. Pyrro, there are similarities between Bulgaria and Serbia. We are both slavs, southernslavs. However, if we look at historic documents and use BASIC logic while reading them, we will find that the earliest and strongest cultural influence was from Bulgaria to Serbia and NOT viceversa! And this trend continued till the fall of Bulgaria under Turkish yoke and beyond!!! Research about Constantine of Kostenets or who crowned Dushan or who FIRST had titles like tzar!!! And the list goes on. Basically you are very mistaken because you take something culturally Bulgarian for Serbian. Or you just play a role because you have a goal. Either way, no one here is interested in you twisted and WRONG as always oppinion!

yes of course... the most compassionate: overblowing everything serbian and underestimating everything bulgarian! sadly, i am as pro-Bulgarian as any foreigner can get. its a fu cking cruel world, and the more we fight against each other, the more easily we will be lamp to the slaughter by the bigger players. Some day, you will realize that Serbs are your best friends.

I've already mentioned that I know multiple Serbs, and a few of them I call friends. Based on these people, I will agree with your assessment on Serbs.
However, Serbs like Pazar, Krivosanin etc. are mice filled with hate and driven by racial motives or simply by some idiotic mental deficiency. In cases such as these, your assessments are completely wrong.
I'm a Bulgar, and as such cannot accept such dishonorable, feeble minded individuals as brothers. We have our own share of feeble minded Bulgars whom I have difficulty accepting.
My personal belief is that it takes a big man to do something, but it takes an even bigger man to take responsibility for a wrong doing.

In real world I mostly have positive opinion on Bulgarians. The few I know and the few more I met were good people. However most Bulgarians here on forum(excluding Ivo) are either childish or idiotic.

^^ that's right. I don't know why Ulf had to exclude the most anti-serb Bulgarian in here.
That said, i would consider Ioan as my friend. He has a good soul. Next time i am in Sofia i'll pm him.
