Serbs Given Go-Ahead by U.S. Court to Sue Defense Contractors over Genocide Friday, September 16, 2011 L-3 Communications, one of the top defense contractors in the United States, is being sued by a group of Serbs who accuse the company of helping Croatians commit genocide against their people during the Balkans war in 1995. A lawsuit filed in a Northern Illinois federal court says L-3 and its subsidiary, MPRI (Military Professional Resources Inc.), helped arm and train the Croatians, who killed or displaced 200,000 Serbs in the Krajina region of Croatia. The complaint states that, “Whether MPRI personnel took part in the genocide is not known and is not alleged here. But what is known definitively is that MPRI provided the means that enabled the genocide to occur.” Lawyers for the defense contractor asked the judge to dismiss the case for lack of jurisdiction, or at least transfer the suit to the Southern District of New York or the Eastern District of Virginia. Judge Ruben Castillo refused on both counts, and ordered the case to proceed in Illinois. The plaintiffs are seeking more than $10 billion in damages from L-3—$25,000 per victim, plus 16 years’ interest at 5%. -Noel Brinkerhoff, David Wallechinsky www.allgov.com/US_and_the_World/ViewNews/Serbs_Given_Go_Ahead_by_US_Court_to_Sue_Defense_Contractors_over_Genocide_110916

U.S. company sued for involvement in Operation StormCHICAGO -- A Chicago court has accepted Serb organizations’ lawsuit against U.S. company Military Professional Resources Inc (MPRI) for involvement in the Operation Storm. The U.S. company is accused of “involvement in genocide and persecution of 200,000 Serbs from Croatia”. Serbs from the Republic of Serb Krajina have accused the U.S. company of instructing the Croat Army during the Operation Storm and participating in the operation and in the expulsion of 200,000 Serbs. “This is an American firm that does ‘dirty work’ for the U.S. administration. In places where the U.S. cannot legally wage wars, the MPRI agency wages them legally with the help from retired generals,” said Veritas Documentation Center Director Savo Štrbac. Chicago Federal Court Judge Ruben Castillo has determined that the state of Illinois is competent to try the retired U.S. generals accused by the Serbs who were expelled from the Republic of Serb Krajina. MPRI has filed an appeal and requested that the trial be held in Washington. “The court believes that the Washington would be biased and that it would rule in MPRI agency’s favor,” Castillo stressed. www.b92.net/eng/news/crimes-article.php?yyyy=2011&mm=09&dd=03&nav_id=76222

+ 5% interest over 16 years, so how much would that be all up? think its an extra 20 grand each. ^it's alot if you know how to use it correctly. buy land & build houses in krajina!! this is exactly what the diaspora should be focusing on. if the other croat embassies in the west are anything like the one here in sydney they'll keep Serbs from getting a Croatian citizenship even when they have proof they were born there. they'll outright refuse to help with the process lol..
