Montenegrin president criticized over anthem commentsAccording to the media in Podgorica, Social-Democratic Party official Raško Konjeviæ reacted by calling on Vujanoviæ to use his presidential powers and start procedures for changing the anthem, or resign. According to Konjeviæ, "Vujanoviæ is the only president of any country in the world who does not have a complete feeling of satisfaction during the sounding of the national anthem". Vujanoviæ spoke for the Sarajevo-based weekly Dani when he said that he did not listento all the lyrics of the anthem "with equal emotions". He singled out those written by Sekula Drljeviæ, saying he listened to them "because he had to". Drljeviæ was a politician in Montenegro active between the two world wars and has been attributed authorship of some parts of the Montenegrin anthem. Vujanoviæ, however, said he "had no understanding for lyrics authored by a man who did not belong to the anti-fascist tradition of Montenegro". Vujanoviæ is also vice-president of the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), and his party reacted to the statements by saying that everyone must respect state symbols, while the amount of emotions that went into it was "their personal business". The Montenegrin president previously failed to toe the ruling coalition line on other issues, including the status of the Serbian Orthodox Church and a controversy over Serbian and Montenegrin languages. www.b92.net/eng/news/region-article.php?yyyy=2011&mm=09&dd=19&nav_id=76464

don't you find it super ironic that the new independent (anti-serbian) montenegro has a president born in belgrade, and 98% of montenegrin public did not know this?

Whose paying him? he's actually a straight-edge politician, who prides himself on not being corrupted or bending his morals. he is known in podgorica for never walking with bodyguards, unlike djukanovic.

Ya I found that interesting, and very "communist-like". Was his father a partizan? (probably)

I read some time ago, there's a specific division in the Italian police force that is aiming at taking him down. He's also been openely critized for being a Mason, but that's another story.
