cojones.
How to Grow Leeks See all Leeks General Leeks are a valuable addition to the garden because they can be used instead of pungent storage onions from October until April. Even in heavy soils, leeks are easy to grow and have lots of flavour.
Latin Allium ampeloprasum var. porrum Family: Amaryllidaceae
Difficulty Easy, but slow. Transplanting required.
Season & Zone Season: Cool season Exposure: Full-sun Zone: Overwintering leeks are hardy to Zone 7.
Timing Start summer/fall harvest leeks in February/March in flats indoors. Start winter harveset leeks from March to mid-June in a humus-rich nursery bed outside, and then transplant. Optimal soil temperature: 10-25°C (50-75°F). Seeds should sprout in 10-16 days.
Starting In flats: Sow seeds 5mm (¼") deep, about 1cm (½") apart. Transplant when 20cm (8") tall. Space 15-20cm (6-8") apart in rows 45cm (18") apart.
Growing Ideal pH: 5.-6.5. Leeks like fertile soil with lots of compost and ½ cup complete organic fertilizer worked in beneath each 2m (6') of row. use a dibber to make holes 15cm (6") deep. Set transplants at the bottom of the hole and cover with soil up to the first leaf. Leave the rest of th ehole unfilled - rain will fill it in as the leek grows. To blanch further up the stem, hill soil up around the stem as the leek grows, or mulch with straw. Dates of maturity are from transplant date.

Kanaris:
"Thats why they call them the Eagles...."
Yeah, flying high up in those Shqiptarian mountains. Remember the show monkey magic? Shqiptarian-Albs used to fly on carpets and have the ability to survive on nothing, maybe just on some ice cube.
Pyrro:
"most frequently those high albanian mountains have Serbian names."
They have Slavic/Serboi names and also they use Slavic/Serboi vocabularly for Mountainous vegetation and other forms of life. Remember what Resuli said Pyrro, if Slavs had another 200 years of influence, the Albanian language would had been completely Slavicisied!
The reason why l used Serboi instead of Serb is because the spoken language of the ancestors of Serbs during 5th, 6th, 7th cent was completely alien to modern spoken Serbian (You know what l mean).

How can you such statements when you know nothing about our language? Easy, show me some early 100 ad albanian writings... then I'll shut the f**k up... you don't have to be a professor of history to understand some stuff. Just like your names...have changed to reflect your identity as time progresses.... Just like the plis wearing albs.... all of a sudden everyone wears them.... 300 years ago..no one knew about them...please..... This goes up there with Turkish claims that they are Thracians. Absolutely, l used to say the exact also, its like an academic finding something then Albs adopt it, but before, they never knew what it was. Doesn't it prove they have nothing to show in the Balkans.
