“I will not talk utilizing an art critic's terms, because I am not a critic, nor do I nurture sympathies for critics. I will not talk as an aesthetic, because aesthetics are anti-poetic, and emanate from the rational elements of intellect – instead of sharpening the senses it blurs them. I will not talk as a philosopher nor as a sociologist, as it is fashionable today, with people completely unrelated to these specialized sciences, as philosophy and sociology as well as politics are irrelevant to poetry and painting, since it is not the act of conducting poetic praxis. I will speak only as an admirer of Nicholas Engonopoulos, our great poet and painter, to weave him praises and to reciprocate with great emotional texture the deep emotional shocks which his poetry always gives us. Look at him.. Nicholas Engonopoulos, you rugged rock of Elbasan and soft green lace of Bosphorus, I salute you Albanian style, with my right hand by my heart, and my warm palm stretched out parallel to any soil I step on” Andreas Empirikos. (1945) Photo: Nikos Engonopoulos (1907-1985) a modern Greek painter and poet. He is one of the most important members of "the generation of the 1930s as well as a major representative of the surrealist art movement in Greece. He was born in Athens to a mother from Andros with roots in Himara and his father's family originated from Elbasan, Albania. His paintings and poetry feature classical and modern themes often with Arvanites as his central subjects.

Why separate the Suliotes as that and the Albanians as that? Why not call them all Albanians?
