This is classic metal, first trials with hydrogen drum machine :
This one is a cover of the known Sia song. All instruments by me, Sia on vocals

I think it sounds more like The Cranberries to me, but ok Linkin Park is alright as well.

yup, it has some celtic thingy in this (cranberries), but I play it drop-A, which pretty low tuning, djent-level.
I find Sia interesting. She has clearly British origin, but her singing accent is completely alien, almost black-american. I really like it. I think she has a great voice and she is a great composer too.
When I was young I belonged to the first generation of thrashers who also embraced rap/hip hop, the seeds of funk metal/nu-metal and everything from then on. So I was not into the die-hard metalheads back thean. I listened more to hip hop rather than classic metal. Those were crazy years.. Anthrax, Sepultura yeah... Pantera, Suicidal tendencies, Faith No More, the real thing, literally ..

Yes, she's alright. When I was younger I really didn't like Linkin Park and similar band. I was more into rock, blues and jazz. Some metal too. Today I really don't care so much about music because after work I always do something on computer, watch a movie, read some book or go out to meet with friends (well at least before this pandemic), and I stopped playing guitar although I still have it, but I still enjoy to hear some good jazz song

If you show this to Sia you and your unknown friend may get an offer to compose music for her next album.

Sia is about 50-ish, she'd hate seeing men around of her age.
