Kuwaiti KGL wants Port of Bar

KGL representatives were also interested in the communication and air transportation markets
As announced in Montenegro Ministry of Transport, the next step will be exchange of information and materials about Port of Bar and Railways followed by proposals for possible cooperation with Kuwaiti company.
The largest Kuwaiti port operator KGL Port International is interested in collaboration and possible privatization of Port of Bar.
Company representatives discussed this with Montenegro Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Telecommunication, Andrija Lompar, who presented future privatization and operating plans of Port of Bar.
They also discussed Montenegro Railways which is being restructured and possible ways of cooperation by connecting two means of transportation.

It's sad. It might mean short term economic growth but in the long run it takes away from the people. The problem is more people are in need of money now and don't really think out the big picture. When CG joins the EU, the land will be worth even more. regardless, they should not sell even then.
