Sadly, it doesn’t come without its issues, with Venezuela being named as one of the rudest countries in the world as a result.
The unrest across Venezuela can make many locals seem less than welcoming to tourists in certain areas of the nation. Then there are the issues with law enforcement that can arise if you don’t have the right identification on you at all times. While it’s not illegal, public displays of affection and being LGBTQ could also land you in trouble.
