The former U.S. president said that, before the conference, he had a talk to President Bãsescu about marketing. Clinton said that Bãsescu wants to launch Romania's image as "the new tiger of Europe", making an allusion to Romania's solid economic growth and political progress in the past few years. Romania's economy grew in 2004 by 8.3%, one of the highest growth rates in Europe.

It seem's there are two tigers in the Balkans. I've read articles about Serbia being a "Balkan tiger". I've also read articles referring to Romania also a "Balkan tiger."

well maybe if romania will send it's army to hungary and fight all those islamic militant then we'll see who's the tiger in balkans, romania will not even be able to beat off those militants to enter and liberate Transylvania. neither romania nor serbia can beat the fundamentals.

Aren't tigers becoming extinct? So that means both Romania and Serbia are fighting (and losing) for survival, and in one generation they'll be both extinct! People haven't really thought this through!
