"A British woman was mauled to death by a pack of wild dogs in Bulgaria yesterday afternoon.
The victim, who has been named by Bulgarian authorities as Ann Morgan Gordon, 56, was walking her own dog when she was attacked".------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article2958081.eceSeems nobody cares.. wild dogs all over the country. In Sofia I personally saw several walking across the very downtown area of NDK!

Come and capture the dogs, Rhezus. You are extremely efficient when it comes to giving common advices on the net. I do think that if you were so useful in reality, there would be no stray dog in just a week.

Excuse me Ruse, but that's not my job.. Why not ask your local municipality to take its responsibility may be?.. As said, nobody cares.. not even about how horrible the condition of streets in most Bulgarian towns, cities and villiges is. EU tax payers should probably give loads of money to Bulgarian authorities?! Right.. and I only wonder how fast these money would disappear then.. Frankly speaking, I never seen anything like that (in Europe). Seems like that's a big issue for Bulgaria.

For your information, the local municipality in Ruse has settled this problem years ago. We have a few dogs but they are marked, friendly and kids love to feed them.

I don't care whether you believe me or not. But I do think that somehow I am more familiar with the affairs in my home city that you are. And if you have a friend or an acquaintance in Ruse, you can ask them.

I have, so I am curious and will ask them. Anyway, I usually don't sit and watch tv when in BG. I travel a lot too.

So you can see with your own eyes. See and then talk. I am not giving an opinion about matters in Sweden I have no idea about.

I've seen too much of Bulgaria.. I express what I see. That's why its quite unusual to hear that town of Ruse do not has homeless dogs strolling around.

I can't understand those westerners. More than ten years ago when the dogs started to multiply in huge numbers, the local authorities tried to handle the problem by ..giving them a clean death. A lot of western organisations and Brigitte Bardot condemned these measures and the process was halted. Now they speak against the dogs

I can't understand those westerners. Just forget them! OK they were good when Eastern Europe was communist, but now their time has gone. We will be the new force in EU, and everyone will look up to us for guidance. (At least the westerners will.)

Don't blame it on the west now, ok.. That's something for Bulgaria to tackle, besides all the other internal issues. Btw, I don't understand... exactly what a "guidance" do west need from Eastern Europe?!

Yeah... they are guilty. Stupid west... Wonder why are so many homeless dogs in BG, BUT NOT in i.e. Hungary, Slovenia, Estonia, Czech rep. or other EU countries?! It's matter of how ppl are used to live, their everyday habits, common sence and culture.

For Rhezus the problem with stray dogs is much more important than false Turkish votes. He is a person of very strange criteria, I must say.

No, I don't really bother.. you could even sleep with stray dogs. But the impression of foreigners is very interesting - when seeing it or reading about it.. I can i.e. say I like Boa snakes or panthers.. and all of a sudden I let them go stray around Sofia or Varna. Hmmn..
