Yes Rhezus! They WERE always Bulgarian, from the time when Bulgarian nation in TODAYS SENSE appeared, which happened around the reign of Boris. The Bulgarians and fyrom were always one people since the emergence of this nation apeared, when Thracians, Slavs and Bulgars became one nation. And that my dear Turkish friend is a fact.

Yeah.. but you speak for them. Let them express their own oppinion, how much they feel bulgarians. I'm glad they are on its own and so should it stay. Norway was both Swedish and Danish kingdom, but noone denies their Norwegian conciousness. Stop living with the past, Macedonia is not Greece or Bulgaria. And that my dear friend is a fact. Hope soon their country name shall nolonger be any stupid greek abbreviation, but Macedonia! I respect the Romans - never mixed Macedonia with Greece or Thrace.

That's because Norway, as a political faction and Norwegians, holding an identity seperate from the Swedish and Danish one, existed before Norway belonged to the Danish and the Swedish crown. The Scandinavian identities formed naturally. Such is not the case with the Macedonian identity.

Rhezus, u are probably Pomak that thinks Bulgarians are closely related to the Turks. Well my stubborn friend, I agree fyroms are separate nation NOW but its due to Serbian politics. They had Bulgarian consciousness some years ago. Its not connected with fairytales, but rather its well documented fact and IF u tried to read some real documents left from the "so different Macedonians" u ll see they thought of themselves as Bulgarian. Are they now separate nation? Yes, but based on fairytales. Alex was Greek, Samuel was Bulgarian (its well documented). So whats left for their heroic nation. And no, its not normal for them to be a separate nation. Would it benormal to have Misian or Thracian nation? Well I guess u are not the person who I should ask.

Haha... I knew you'd say that!! And please, don't gues anymore about me. I am not any of these you mention. Just an example that ppl can be different from your own stereotype of Bulgarians. Stubborn is probably you, who don't accept different views from your own (Balkan stubborness).

I aplaud difference, it makes live more interesting. I have lots of friends that are Romaks and Turks. Most I know I really like, just to mention this. I accept different view, but its kind of striking when u, a Bulgarian sitizen, come and begin posting links from macedonia.org, trying to convince us that fyrom are very much different from the Bulgarians. Well, its not true, all written documents from medievil times proove that fyrom people felt as Bulgarians. Are they now different nation? Yes they are but its not a normal process, its due to politics and almost everyone (except the Serbs) would agree on this.

You cannot deny the great achievments of Alexander. This is true.. that's why he was called the GREAT. the source was reffered to the fact Macedones and Greek were not same ppl - that's right as well.
