Bosnia Region´s Presidential Election Set On Dec.9Bosnia's election commission on Thursday called an early presidential election in the Serb Republic on Dec. 9 to fill a legal gap left after the sudden death of the region's president Milan Jelic last month. A decision by the Serb Republic parliament to appoint the Serb parliament speaker to carry the duties of the president until the election was vetoed in the upper house by Croat and Muslim deputies.
