This could be the best edition of Bosnian basketball since the days when players such as Zoran Savic, Predrag Danilovic, Teoman Alibegovic and Damir Mulaomerovic learned the game on the playgrounds of BiH twenty years ago.
KK Bosna ASA was pushed out of Adriatic league based on the bias of some league officals. They are now playing in KSBiH domestic league and ULEB this year. Lance Williams has returned to the city were he starred 2-3 years ago and is in the best shape of his life. NBA prospect Edin Bavicic has returned even if young phenom Nijad Djedovic has moved to Spain. Young BOSNA ASA players are unproven and undertalented outside of decent players Suad Sehovic and Muhamad Pasalic. Players like Quemont Greer, Sinisa Kovacevic and Dzenan Rahimic are limited in there abilities. There is much turmoil within the managment of KK BOSNA and more changes could happen if they continue to struggle this year.
Siroki has struggled in Adriatic league without stars Ivan Opacak and Stanko Barac and head coach Josip Vrankovic. They have recently added Sharif Fajardo but it still seems like a long climb without any quality youngsters on the team.
KK Sloboda Dita Tuzla is the suprise so far. Even with losing NBA prospect Elemedin Kikanovic to the Serbian league the team is playing great with quality team play. Serbian legend Sladen Stojakovic has retired from the team and now is running the managment team with the goal to make it to ULEB next year. Young phenom Miralem Halilovic is team captain at the age of 16!
KK Zenica Celik has the best point guard in BiH on it's team Armin Avdibegovic. He is tearing up the league and leading the team. Star Admir Alic has returned to the team after a few years overseas. Asmir Sadibasic leads the post game for the team and there ambitions.
BC Igokea has improved there team and hopes to compete for the league title.
It is the most well balanced talented league for Bosnia possibly in the last 20 years let's hope it contintues to grow and improve!
