Mesiæ eyes high representative to Bosnia job 19 November 2007 | 13:09 | Source: Beta ZAGREB -- Croatian President Stjepan Mesiæ could be the next international High Representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
He confirmed the rumors in a statement for Zagreb daily Veèernji List, saying that after his second term as president is over, he would "happily accept the job", under the conditions that he “remains healthy and that all parties in Bosnia-Herzegovina agree.”
Mesiæ’s term as president of Croatia expires in 2010.
The daily writes that the Mesiæ is a politician "with a lot of international respect, very well informed regarding the situation in Bosnia," adding that he is someone who “the Bosniaks love, the Croats respect and the Serbs have little reservations with.”

Dodik said he would be against it... something to the effect of Mesic helping break up Yugoslavia, so that Bosnia does not need that experience... although I would disagree

Dodik said he would be against it... something to the effect of Mesic helping break up Yugoslavia, so that Bosnia does not need that experience... although I would disagree After 2005, I believe Dayton states people from neighbouring countries can be the high representative. Personally, I don't think he will be president it would be considered provocative and everything her does would be controversial.
