I joined this forum using the nickname Jerry Springer, but one of the administrators had changed it to Anittas. I wasn't aware that it was part of the forum policy to use the same nickname as in the older forum. Why wasn't I informed of this change of policy? To add more to the confusion, other members use different nicknames than the original they were known under in the older forum.
Examples:
Original nickname: Canaris; New nickname: Kanaris Original nickname: Dijedon; New nickname: donnie Original nickname: Meltdown; New nickname: T...something Original nickname: JannisaryofByzantium; New nickname: JanissaryofByzantium, B...something Original nickname: Kassandri; New nickname: Kasso
I would like to know if it's withing my control what pseudonym I choose to post under.

I changed it. I assumed you liked your nick as you would have gotten used to it. You can change the viewable nick back to anything you want.
What is the issue, you really want that JS nick back?
To change your nick go to
1. Nick Profile 2. Modify Profile 3. Display Name (change nick here)(top of the page)

I just wanted to know you did it. I'm quite indifferent, so I guess I'll keep this nickname. Since you are into changing things, perhaps you could have a look at my karma.

It all depends on your reaction and your reason for it. I was afraid that my nickname was changed to Anittas as a sign of warning to people. More like, 'it's Anittas--you can't ask for much'.
