Race exists, and for Albanians it is very important to us. i don't know if you take this seriously enough but to me this is an important part of who i am and my cultural identity. It seems that being an asshole is also a part of your cultural identity.

Sorry to disapoint Evagr but this cute baby is not of albanian ethnicity. www.flickr.com/photos/adelinahs/2269805356/Roma/Ashkali and a very cute one! Here is little ethnic albanian! img92.imageshack.us/img92/4079/hpim28981wr9.jpgmy little tiger! It is not about Nazi stuff, the whole issue is about greeks who live in diaspora and never saw an albanian and who assume that albanians are darker and eastern looking than greeks coz of the religion of albanians which is obvioustly wrong,it is the greeks who are darker and eastern looking, albanians can always say with full confidence that we albanians regardless religion are less darker and less uneuropean and less eastern looking people than greeks in general, its the reality and try to live with it!.

We are all aware that Albanians tend to be light skinned; but that baby is half Albanian. If that baby would turn out to be as successful as Alexander the Great, you would spam this forum, insisting that he's Albanian.

I'll have to agree that races do exist. Despite the "tiny genetic differences" there do exist an immense variety of cultural, mental, and even physical differences between the racial subcategories and it doesn't take a scientist to recognize this. I do think that preserving one's ethnicity is important and whereas the Germanics tend to not care (which in the end will be their ultimate demise) Eastern and Southern Europeans tend to recognize the importance of ethnicity which is why we were able to overcome so much occupation and aggression with our cultural uniqueness completely intact. That being said I do recognize that humans are humans and no racial type is superior to another.

The first people to create a civilization where the Summerians/ Babylonians. The first true empire on earth was the Persian empire. The Phoenicians where the first maritime traders who travelled passed the pillars of Hercules to Britain and South Africa. The people who built the stonehenge where of Mediterranean stock. The Egyptians who built the Pyramids where also of Mediterranean stock and so where the Libyans. The Arabs and Jews created the world religions (Christiantity, Islam and Judiasm). The Greeks and Romans created 'Western Civilization' and various arts such as Rhetoric and Philosophy, they where both of Mediterranean stock. What is interesting that that first recored Neanderthal hybrid from Portugal is 25,000 years old which would give ample of time for hybrids to multiply. Also, that (larger brained) Neanderthals lived in what can now be referred as Mediterranean region and its proximity. _____________ Comparison of crania, sapiens (left) and neanderthalensis (right). ______________ cranial of Ramses V Note: Ramses V appears (like other ancient Egyptians) rather slander in body built and thus unlike when compared with robust Neandertals but the head region is showing some neandertal-like features. ------------- I touched on this subject over 2 years ago p100.ezboard.com/The-Hybrid-halfneandertal-Child-from-Portugal/fbalkansfrm57.showMessage?topicID=287.topicI don't know who you are quoting, but it's "were", not "where". I would love to see a [credible] source claiming that the builders of the Stonehenge belonged to the Mediterranean stock.

Okay, well, I don't think the builders of the Stonehenge were Mediterranean. You could say that a large portion of the English, today, are Mediterranean, but this wasn't the case back then.

I feel inferior to albanians? Let me put this simply....I don't care if gold nuggets fall out of your ass, I wouldn't touch you with a 10 foot pole. Yes, we all hear the echoes of Albanian boys rejecting your offer to pay them to be your escort at your prom. lolol I hope those boys at least considered you a friend. lol

Okay, well, I don't think the builders of the Stonehenge were Mediterranean. You could say that a large portion of the English, today, are Mediterranean, but this wasn't the case back then. Lets assume that stonehenge are what, 4,000-5,000 years old "Archaeologists believe that the standing stones were erected around 2200 BC and the surrounding circular earth bank and ditch, which constitute the earliest phase of the monument, have been dated to about 3100 BC." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stonehenge1) Going that much back in time I doubt there is any Nordics around (meaning most likely there were still in atlantomed appearance as Mediterranean have not been in these regions much further being dates stated above so there would be no time to adjust, de-pegment). 4,000-5,000 years ago was the rough time frame of Mediterranean expansion into northwestern and north Europe (glaciers retreat occurs shortly before that that allows this expansion) which brought with it agriculture. "Regions that experienced greater environmental effects as the last ice age ended have a much more evident Mesolithic era, lasting millennia. In Northern Europe, societies were able to live well on rich food supplies from the marshlands fostered by the warmer climate. Such conditions produced distinctive human behaviours which are preserved in the material record, such as the Maglemosian and Azilian cultures. These conditions also delayed the coming of the Neolithic until as late as 4000 BCE (6,000 BP) in northern Europe." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stonehenge2) Nordics as we know them today in UK are, historically speaking, recent development, primarily having to do with Anglo-Saxon expansion and are mostly confined to eastern half of Great Britain which was the primary Anglo-Saxon zone of impact and influence. 3) These recent Nordics encountered antlanto-med types which still today predominate in western half of Great Britain (island) which was their refuge area. earlier population such as Picks were atlanto-med populations.

I would never suggest Nordics inhabiting Brittain at that time. But then again, you yourself said that Nordics are partially Mediterranean, so even if they did, we would still be back at square one.
Are you sayign that the Celts were partially Mediterranean? If so, what are we debating anymore? If the Celts and the Nordics are partially Mediterranean, then there's no need for these competitions in historical accomplishments.

a race is the beginning of speciation. Theres no such thing as the "human race" that's just a common expression that is misleading.
There is a human species: homo sapiens
then there are subspecies: caucasoid, mongoloid, negroid, australoid, capoid,
Each of these "races" carries with it racial characteristics, so much so that you can identify which race the person is just by looking at the skeleton.
So, europeans and australian aboriginees are evolving away from each other, not towards. Eventually they will not be able to breed fertile offspring anymore.
But because of mix breeding like that little mulatto baby in the thread opening, you have race hybrids who do not belong to any race.
BTW that little blonde baby is cute. Most Alb kids look like that. Kids tend to be a little lighter when they are born because they haven't produced too much melanin yet.
Patrinos is not white, he may be "Greek" but he is not white. I've seen his pics.

Also, EvaGR, If you loved diversity so much then why are you trying to destroy it?
racemixing destroys diversity because the hybrid doesn't look like any of its parents.
