27% is pretty high. That's nearly 1/3rd of the population. I'd say join the ESDP not NATO.

lol, if croatia wont be accepted to join nato, then there's no way in hell albania or macedonia would be able to over croatia.
countries like romania and bulgaria joining the EU and nato before croatia makes a mockery of their system in adding countries to join their organisations.
croatia cant make it to nato or eu, but these backward & poor ass countries like bulgaria and romania can, is a complete joke.
anyways, croatia for so many reasons should not join EU. as for nato,... i'm more inclined to say yes, because we have dikhead countries like neighboring slovenia who are constantly trying to test us in regards to border issues. also we cant accept serbia getting nato membership before croatia, because then serbia will try to be a bully in regional issues against croatian interests in the region because we dont have the backing of nato.
so i will say yes to nato even though before i was saying no.
there's too much bullshyt in the balkans , and we need stronger support on our side in regional issues, especially if some bullshyt separtist uprising erupts in croatia with the serbian minority in the future or war erupts in BiH again.
at the moment our allies are not giving croatia the support it needs, and cant be relied on if trouble brews in the region again.
if it wasnt for these reasons, then i would say no to nato, because im not that keen on sending our troops to fight bulshyt wars in iraq and afghanistan that america started, and wants everybody to help them.
so unfortunately thats the price we gotta pay for guarranteed security and sovereignty of croatia, and support for croatian interests in our region.

They let Romania and Bulgaria enter only for two things, and two things only. Those are:
- Cheap Labour for Western Products. - Spread of Influence on Continental Europe to counter a rise from Russia.
They're giving us a hard time because they want to crack us, and make fools of our polititians so they can run our shit. They want Croatia for it's tourism, and they want direct control of it, no questions asked. But now they see that our polititians are stubborn, and won't give up ZERP, let alone our coastline.

After communism fell, a bunch of sellouts, and so-called leaders came to power, with nothing but the pure skills of the best asskissing the west can be offered.

Simple. Many EU industrialists want to create a crescent of cheap labour that includes Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Turkey. I mean if one factors in wages in those areas and transport costs ones verious "pan-european transport corridors" are built it become more profitable to build in those areas then in China.
I heard this three years ago in an Economist article.
NATO wouldn't help in regards to Slovenia. Since Slovenia is already a member, NATO would intervene on Slovenias side should hostilities arise. If Croatia were to be a member of NATO, NATO wouldn't intervene in a conflict between the two just like how they didn't intervene to stop hostilities around Cyprus.
Then you are not aware of the attitude in Serbia. In Serbia barely 20% of the population supports NATO. While the reverse is true with regard to politicians.
Then you are not aware of geopolitics. NATO is in favour of a centralized Bosnia and would under no condition allow RS seperatists to achieve seperation (unless it would occur through a diplomatic route -- and that will not happen).

I think a clear majority is pretty damn good... you could get the undecideds to support it easily, and its reasonable to think 2/3 of the population would support joining NATO
