Vecer: Almost 30% of the Roma in Macedonia are unemployed 1 July 2008 | 11:17 | FOCUS News Agency Skopje. Inadequate education, unemployment, bad quality of life and poverty are among the problems Roma people in Macedonia have, the Macedonian daily Vecer reports, citing a poll of the association of emancipation, solidarity and equality of women. Most of the respondents – about 16.8% have only elementary education. 19.9 % are illiterate. 12% have secondary education and only 0.3% have university education.
