Wow it only took you like 5 days to think of that response. I guess the roots of the Montenegrin religion were Serbian then. You're probably not even Orthodox, because we all know you're not Montenegrin. Keeping in mind that the "ethnic" Montenegrin identity was developed predominantly by athiest communists during the time of Yugoslavia.

^No that question was just really stupid
The "roots" of the Montenegrin religion are in Byzantium, just like every other orthodox
But we got Orthodoxy through Serbian conquering of our country.
And I've been on this forum for much longer than you, ask the older people I'm orthodox.

^I have been there, you have no idea what you're saying. You have been there??? Where are you from? Ulcinj? Come & visit me in Danilovgrad when I'm there next month. We can go and visit the Serbian monastery Ostrog founded by the Serbian Sveti Vasilije. I have been there as well & only the primorje is well off. The rest of Montenegro remains poor as it was during Jugoslavija. Even more so with the contemporary Montenegrin work ethic.

^My father's side is from Boka Kotorska, my mom's is from Vasojevici/Plav
I haven't been to Danilovgrad yet I want to go bad. I was going to go to Ostrog last summer and also do rafting on the Tara. That's for next summer I guess haha.
I have been to Podgorica though, and the place is turning real beautiful really fast, and people are living well. I have been to Cetinje as well, and that I must say is one of the cleanest cities in Europe (No trash anywhere!) .
Now these are both inner-Montenegrin Cities, that are doing well, that's enough for me.
Now of course some villages in the mountains won't be doing well, and the people will be living like shepards, but that's how they've always been living...
I've been to plav, and the life over there isn't so great, kinda crappy but not like mexico bad...Berane the same.
