The trouth is.... nobody used to lock down doors and window in Greece. I remember myself very well. The last 10-15 years locking the door became a common practise. The security doors are the only doors that increase sales in Greece. New habbits for Greeks. Our paradise have been destroyed

I’ll be honest here, sure am not living there in Greece right now some may say, but how can we Greeks blame others when we don’t look into our self’s in the mirror and ask the right question why has it gone this way ?
Is it because of economic immigrants and illegal make good profits for the greedy Greek businesses ? From what I have been reading, it seems so. We have only our self’s to blame imo in most cases. It’s a human phenomenon gentleman, created purely a human "sin," greed. It’s ruining many nations at the moment.
If we the Greeks there want things to be correceted, only way is to ask our self's why and how can we stop this deginiration from continuing ?
That's my 2 cents for tonight.
Kali nixta sas.

Its just an assumption Michali, you cannot judge someone based on an assumption, and much less a whole people.
You dont neccessarily have to have talked to your thief before you get robbed.

I was buying a car today and guess what happened. The dealer was an Armenian, me and my old man where talking business. He told us he visited Greece, he had one Thousand Euro Dollars in One pocket and One Thousand American Dollars in the other, he was traveling via ferry and payed using the Euro Dollars. Once of the ferry he went to buy dinner, he checked his pocket to pay and the One Thousand American Dollars where gone. And guess what? On board he was talking with an Albanian! And no one else. I wonder who stole the money? Then our Armenian friend told us that the Albanians are criminals and they do not deserve to live in such a beautiful country. Then my Grand Father was going on, how Greece before the **** came in was much safer and that you could leave your doors and windows open. Not anymore i see... what's a euro dollar you insufferable ****? you ignorant ****, you are a real credit to your ***** nation (Libofsha.. behave yourself. Learn to discuss. You dont live in the mountains any more.)

it sounds quite an accusation to me! Stylish one...somehow typical Greek...(I am saying but I am not saying...hmmmm) ....just to enlighten Greek123456890000 what if your Armenian "friend" invented the story just to caress your self esteem and be friends with you on the so-called "the common goal - let's talk bad against Albanians so that we can become friends"? what if he invented the whole story? And what if you invented the whole story? And what if those who presented themselves as Albanians were in fact Greeks?

nothing about that made any sense, it was obvious that imbecile was just venting out, but its a little sad when you see these other drones indulging that cretin and trying to rationalize his racist rant, utter stupidy.

I recall that time in Albania too. We didn't use to lock the doors before. It is not a phenomenon of Greece only. Listen, in USA, if you don't close the doors, you get killed for not more but 20 dollars by Americans themselves. It is a "global" thing I guess. Immigration has its part, but trust me, modern times are not the old ones anymore.

Libo,
calm down and understand that Illyria Forum is a free place (to my knowledge so far), where people are free to speak up their opinion...don't blame moderators for allowing members to feel free to express their opinion...members get judged by it...you are as smart as to understand what I mean...
