I'm having some Bosnian and Croatian friends over for dinner in the weekend, and am cooking different things from different cuisines for them since I'm not sure what they like to eat...I'd hate to serve them food which they wouldn't touch...I'd feel bad and embarrassed about that. To be on the safe side I've decided to cook some things from their cuisines. Even though I've eaten Bosnian and Croatian food before, I've never actually cooked it myself...I'm a bit lost in terms of what to cook for my friends. Do you guys have any suggestions? What do you like to eat from your own cuisine? If you got any good websites with recipes, please do post'em . Thanks in advance. And bajram serif mubarek olsun in advance to those of you who celebrate it .

Thanks, Trazi Vise, but I don't understand a word of that website . But you did give me an idea...I remember that my aunt has a couple of books in Danish on East European cooking...maybe those books cover Bosnia and Croatia, too...I'll have a look later today . Thanks .

Trazi Vise, Thanks but I don't udnerstand it . Ruse, Of course I can ;D...and I did it, too, but I didn't find anything useful. I actually came across that website but I wasn't sure how Bosnian or Croatian something like polenta is ;D. Anyways, thanks a lot for the link, Rusey (F). Balkanwise, I ended cooking sarma, burek (both with cheese and meat), chevapi...porkfree, though...and mousaka. I'm pretty proud of the results ;D.

I'm glad you like the look of it...a lot of effort was put into making all that food for all those people . It was for my son's 1st birthday party . MiG, lol, I hope you'll marry someone who will cook for you . To be honest, I did not do a whole lot of cooking before I got married...my mum took care of that business for me ;D. Trazi Vise, Hahaha! ;D.

That's cool, Nilo. This is what happens to cars that stay in the garage and are not driven
