I wonder if there is a chance that Serbia could sue for Genocide.

It's already posted on the Croatian forum. And I hope Serbia sues Croats for genocide and then the Austro-Hungarians, and then the Ottomans, and then the Bulgarians and then the blah blah blah....

Bravo Mesic. I wonder if there is a chance that Serbia could sue for Genocide. No, not really. Unless the Croat government took the view that the Ustasha reigme was a manifestation of the will of the Croat people. I don't think they've ever made this view official policy.

We shouldn't be putting the two events in the same sentence, let alone comparing them. One was the site of unbeliavble slaughter over a number of years to which the perpetrators showed no remorse over.
'Bleiburg' is nothing like it in comparison. An action undertaken by the British Allies and the Croat Tito to prevent the hordes of fascists trying to evade justice after their fuhrer was defeated. How many moer Pavelics, Jurisics would have escaped if not for the quick thinking of the Yugoslav army.
Mesic is scum, sheep in wolfs clothing - whatever you want to call it. He has been wittingly underminning Serbs in Croatia for years now all for the guise of bringing Croatia to the EU. Let's not forget his speech in Melbourne in the 90s (can be found on youtube) when he proudly announced that Croats won twice in WW2, when NDH was established and when the communists won.
The Jasenovac memeorial Mesic speaks of is a sham by all means. In documenting genocide it is expected that both the victim and the perps are clearly identified. Jewish groups who attended in the previous years noted that there was barely a refference to who committed those heinous crimes.

^ Isn't Mesic also the man who in the 90s wanted to bury a number of Ustasha soldiers in a cemetary filled with Jasenovac victims.

Branding most of the innocent victims of Bleiburg as fascists makes it easier to justify their mass murder. Yes?

Had they escaped they surely would have posed a threat to Tito, that’s why it happened. It has nothing to do with justice. I agree with you bob entirely. I too loved when Mihailovic got hung. Mihailovic was nothing like any of the Ustasha so don’t even start.

It hurts when someone is trying to twist the truth.
Most people killed at Bleiburg where Domobrani and civilians. To say everyone deserved it would be a little narcissistic.

They definitly werent mostly "Domobrani and civilians" you fools. My grandad was a Domobran cook (And also a Serb). When the war was over, the Communists gave him along with Croatian members of the Domobrani houses in Vinkovci. The vast majority of Domobrani had no reason to flee, and didnt.
The people who fled were individuals with an agenda. You had Ustase, their familes, families who supported the Ustase, Cetniks loyal to the Germans, Cetniks loyal to the Italians, Zelenasi from Montenegro, Picke from Montenegro (Like the ones Terror idolises) and so on. It wasnt just Croatians. If they were innocent, why were they fleeing? They got what they deserved.

VuciGorski, sorry mate but i disagree with you, my uncle was a Dobrovoljac[for the King and for Yugoslavia] and he was sent to Jasenovac by the communists, the communist killed thousand's of innocent people,Chetniks were not loyal to the Nazi's or the Italians, they were allied with the British and Americans, do you really believe the communists did't collaborate with the germans in order to kill Chetniks and Ustase.

^^
You mean he was sent to Jasenovac after World War 2 right?
No doubt the Communists killed people, but I dont believe any of them were innocent. They were all enemies of the State, and therefore to Yugoslavia and our system. To of my uncles from my mothers side were murdered by Tito simply because they were supporters of Stalin. I had other family members locked up because they hated Tito too, and were supporters of Milovan Djilias.
None of these people were bad, but they had opposing ideas which would have been detrimental to Yugoslavia going forward at the time. Im not saying they deserved to die, but thats the way the war goes. If the Cetniks had won, they would have done a purge of the Communists in Yugoslavia aswell.
