"The only similarity she has is that there is a certain "Balkan aura" around her that links Balkan grannies together." Thats what fools me, could be the clothing, style etc....The arching eyebrows tend to be a common feature with women in my dads side of the family (older generations) like with the granny above. I'm not sure whether there is a borreby strain with the Granny, as the face seems more longer than the general alpine prototype. I agree...she also was too tall for an alpine... I dont know who she resembles more..but I guess she comes more after her father in general...I do only have pics of my grandparents...and the pics are in the case of my grandmother in very bad condition...I have never seen them they died very early...my mum has broad cheekbones...thats from her mother I guess...but simulatenously a pretty big forehead...from her father...I guess the forehead...the eyes... the ears (dinaric distant ears))...and the chin...are from her father...everything inbetween from her mother...but as I said...I cant say with 100% secure..she also doesnt resemble any of her parents perfectly...on the other hand I cant imagine how the female type of my grandfather would look like...and he didnt have any sisters either...

I have an aunt who looks like Kastor's. My father's brother's wife...and she looks somehow slavic...the whole family calls her with the name of her village...which is a slavic toponym... ;D... totaly vlahofatsa. ;D, pale white like she's ill, "dirty blond", you know the "alvanoxantho" colour, no lips ...and small eyes...when I see her, i undestand that the vast majority of Moraites ,conclusively, are not influenced by the slavalvanous...

Well, for Albanians, people who are on the whole dark-skinned are either: 1) Turks 2) Greeks. 3) Gypsy
