Cimmerians? They spoke a language related to modern Ossetian. Sumerians spoke an agglutative language like Turkic, however we know the language and it bares no relation to modern Turkish. let alone the fact that their own mythology stated that they came from south of Babylon, not north.
Etruscans also were not in anyway related to Turkic peoples. They were natives of Italy and from what little is available of their language... they did not speak a language related to the Altai family.
Alans were also Indo-Aryan (related to Iranic languages, closest link being the modern Ossetians). They had close relations with the Cimmerians, Scythians and later Sarmatians. Saka too were not, at least on the western area, Turkic. Perhaps in the more Central Asian areas it began to mix...
Jeez, these are some heavy and crazy stretched.

WOW, so what's next? Are we going to claim Marcians as Turkic as well? Many of these are inaccurate, and many are debatable. Some are not even ethnic groups, but rather, federations of various different ethinic groups.

Does it say ethnic groups anywhere in the picture? Has anyone claimed this?
Instead of stating "many" and "debateable" why don't you point out the mistakes so we can all be better educated. As I stated before I just thought it was a cool picture.

Calm down, next thing you know people will be looking at pictures like this to learn history, much like Gyrro was trying to learn English grammer by looing at a picture of a popular music album cover.

I don't care about your problems with Gyro. I am in fact calm and politely requested that you better the forum by sharing your knowledge. If you have information please do share. If not thanks anyway.

The Etruscans are said to be of Anatolian origin.I have even read that they have similar DNA to Anatolians.
Turks, with their grandiose ways,of course, seize on this and claim oh we Turks influenced that and went as far as that bla bla bla....I saw this on an article and even from comments from Turks on a forum!
This Etruscan thing happened way before the Turks came to Anatolia and it shows more proof that Anatolian Turks are,of Anatolian stock.
Plus, there is something seriously weird about Turks from Turkey constanly reaching out to those in Central Asia.Yuck!

Turkey has got Turkish people. Turkish people are made up of a variety of ethnicities, among these are pure Turks who are from central asia, therefore Turks are spread out across a wide geography.
If u cannot prove otherwise stfu

If u cannot prove otherwise stfu Stop trying to claim Bosniaks,Albanians,Circassians and other Europeans as one with Turks! When there are Kurds, you downplay it,saying it is not Turkey bla bla bla,but for the European ones, you dismiss their ethnicity and just say they are Turks and Turks. There are no pure Turks in Turkey and those who do descent from those who came with the Seljuks are all mixed up and only a minority in Turkey descends from them. With your reasoning of what constitutes Turks, every human is one.

Yeah we are all one, because all those people say they are Turks!
Ask them if you please !
Ask any Bosniak, Arnavut, Laz, Cerkez, Arab even, they all say they are Turkish.
There are also pure Turks like Turkmen tribes descendents, and Yoruk families which settled during the Seljuk and Ottoman times. They moved to Turkey.
They trace their lineages back to the Turkmen...
I can even show you websites.
You have problemos accepting this curry boy..

LOL curry boy.
Anyway, If you read above I said Turkish people, not Turk people. Turkish people are the people who are nationals of the Turkish Republic.
Just as I am British, that my kids and grandkids will be British, everyone in Turkey is Turkish nationally, including Turkmens, Azeri's, Khazaks, Yoruks etc
Now in Turkish - Turk means Turkish that is the word for it. Therefore all those people call themselves TURK. So they call themselves the same as all the people in central asia who define themselves as Turks.
