^ The ones who traded their boy for a colour tv were Albanian Gypsies, trading or selling children never was part of Albanian culture, Gypsies do however have a culture for such things.
Anyways, why use any time on DY, guys?

lol she finds one source and thinks all albanians are like that.. You realize you can do the same with any group of people?
It's common knowledge that turks will sell their daughters to a muslim turk. One girl in my highschool was complaining about how her dad was forcing her to engage with some random turk, I wonder if the dad knew about her spanish boyfriend?
This is in New york btw, I can't imagine how it's like in Germany or Turkey.
Again please take another 2 days to find another source bashing albanians. Please it will help prove your point!

Yea, yea, one source? I have posted plenty of sources about people trafficking, yet, Albanian minds find it so hard to accept that this could be happening. Yes, Turks forcing, or pressuring their daughters to get married... lets compare it with.... telling a women she has got a job in London as a cleaner, once she gets to London, taking away her passport and money and forcing her to have sex with 20 or more different guys a day. Yea, really the same thing... u are pathetic.

You know better than professsionals huh? www.wsws.org/articles/2003/oct2003/traf-o25.shtmlBaslik parasi is a practice no longer used in Turkey apart from the very old school villages. It is a subject made fun of even in the 1970's comedy movies. However, it is common in places throughout the world, from Africa to Arabia. You cannot compare it to the illegal sex trade/people trafficking, little boy. Don't u have sbs exams to practice for? and you waste time here with your irrelevant comments. Baslik is for consenting adults, it is called dowry money in English, generally the female does request it. People trafficking and the sex trade is non consensual, fooling people and children into being abused in a foreign country, is completely different from dowry money. wow calm down Desire, no need to get mad and all.. I sipmly pointed out a fact. Oh and you calling me little boy all the time is kinda stupid and does not strengthen your claims...Btw I don't have sbs exams, I am 19 and will go to college in London next year.

Mad? lol. Yea, I really got mad lmao. You are a "little boy" though. Couldn't you get into a good university in Turkey? aww nevermind. College of speaking English I guess I was just helping to "clarify" that Baslik parasi and People trafficking cannot even be mentioned in the same context. Have you heard about Sworn Virgins? another of your Albanian customs and one of my favourites

Whatever, maybe you like being old and grumpy calling people little boy etc. And you are right they cannot be mentioned in the same context, one is a crime that can be encountered in every country, not just in albania. While the other one is the selling of a woman by her own father...

KCL... isn't a college Pretty high score? more like you will be paying the extortionate freshy prices lol. I don't know what YGS OGS MGs crap they have in the Turkish education system, all I know is, if you pay you can study there Your little brain cannot comprehend that 1: Dowry money is a tradition also requested by the female getting married. In a way an adaptation of the money promised during an "imam nikah" If they get divorced, they can make use of that money, it is a kind of guarantee. It is also completely outdated and no longer in use. Whereas Criminal networks sexually exploiting children and women is happening in MODERN DAY europe by Albanians. do you get it yet?

Eastern Anatolia? and you try to call it a Turkish tradition? Kings College is a University. Nobody going to KCL would say "I am going to college" LOL Regardless...of whatever you say about Dowry money it is nothing compared to the Albanian drug dealing/people trafficking/sex trade pimping etc... I doubt you can afford to study at KCL, some programs can cost up to 31,000 pounds a year. However, if you can goody gum drops for you Most probably you will be studying at the oxford school of English off Oxford Street. Then at night time, try to head to Leicester Sq to meet ur fellow Albanians, they can give a discount on a prostitute for you (u will need it)
