Uz had any reason to be skeptic against foreigners, besides we had a philosophical conversation (smth unknown by albanian standards) and we talk and exchange info with no major problem. You are on the other hand .... you are ... ALBANIAN!

" Good for the tourists".. ??! And when the tourists start asking... "ok we saw the statue of Alexander the Great, now can we a) visit the place he was born (Pella) b) his classroom where he was tought by Aristoteles (Mieza, today Naousa) c) his palace (Pella) d) his summer palace (Amphipolis) e) the place he worshiped his Gods (Dion-Mt. Olympus) f) the city builded to honor his sister (Thessaloniki)?" ........... your answer will be .......... "Ofcourse, we'll organize a road trip with our busses to real Macedonia tommorow!"...? ;D ;D ;D Man, there was a guy named "Nikolaos Politis" who wrote a collection of "greek" fairy tales, oral traditions, etc.... That was around 1900. Apart from the fact that every village seems to have a slavic name (Peloponese, central Greece, Makedonia, only Cyprus/Crete escape the pattern), it also seems that most of the stories come from the lands of the Slavs as well. All fairies, dragons, etc.. seem a cheap nameless copy of the Slavic ones. (The slavic ones are better described, categorized and always bare a name), while in Greek ones, we have "some" dragon, "some" king, etc... It is spectacular, how the locals (mostly in South Greece) speak about an ancient unrelated nation called "Jeleni" (Ellines) how they were huge, and how brave they were.... In some story they talk about some dudes who went to Constantinoupoli to meet some REAL GREEK WOMAN. LOL!!! How she was huge and could break iron bars with bare hands. But this is not everything!!! In some other story from Servia (50 km from your town), they talk about their great Christian King : Marko Kralj!! (Marko Kraljevic!!!) At another occasion, my eyes fell on a greek book with some "newer greek" fairy tales. Most people are surprised, because they think that there are no greek fairy tales. Well, it turned out that at least the first i read was about a fairy which had also a name..... MILICA!!! Do you think this comes from the word "Apple"? Mhlitsa? I damn right dont!!! I think it comes str8 from MILICA!! (Milan, Mile, Milana, Milica). That is the cruel reality my true great makedonian superior greek. So, i guess what you say is correct. Maybe the *real* "makedonia" is in Greece ;D ;D ;D hmm... so... what will be the anwswer to the tourist? ps. .. since this was the initial post..

^ your yaya is Albanian...go fix her roof before the rainy season comes in I wonder why the Slavic Gods allow creatures like you to be alive. Maybe to entertain your superior Slavs? Who knows? Maybe PERUN or VELES have an answer to this!

hmm... so... what will be the anwswer to the tourist? ps. .. since this was the initial post.. Since the main problem is only the tourist (we neo-Greeks never cared too much about the substance, anyway, only on the surface), then they should say to the tourist : - Everything about ancient makedonian culture took place to the Greek Makedonia, and relates to ancient Greece - Everything related to the modern Greek makedonia (Pontians excluded) heavily relates to ex-Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. is that fair?

Ha? weren't your albano ancestors worshiping Sveti Jovan (in his monastery in Albania) as their saint? HA? weren't your albano ancestors considering Milos Obilic as their hero? HA? Shut up animal and kill your self, the rats need the oxygen you are consuming, and what ever they do they contribute more into this world than you do.

Illyria and Dardania a myth? I believe both existed. Dardania with Kosova free from the filth, can't be complete without its main city Shkup. We're getting there. You just worry about your shrinking serbia.

Then wtf is Illyria/dardania? Just embrace your greeks roots so we can all move on. Man, allow me to say, that you have no idea what you are talking about. Just because two things do not exist, it does not mean they are equal.
