Greece did not start any yugoslav war. The 100,000 yugoslav victims in the bosnian war and the 10,000 in the kosovo war, have nothing to do with greece. Those victims were caused by western aggression and slavic stupidity. Also if we account all the murders of the bulgarian side against "fellow" yugo-slavs in the last 100 years, you will see that things get even worse.... now how about the opposite?? have you ever thought the impact of the yugoslav help to the greek communists resulted in the ongoing of the greek civil war? i am 100% confident that the slavic policies made more significant impacts in greece, rather than the other way around... also let me get this straight,,, greece helped yugoslavs from ALL bosnia during the bosnian war (in terms of material aid) and also, 100 volunteers fought for the bosnian serbs. (of them, only 2-3 were true fighters, the rest were doing PR jobs). so, the fact that you accuse greeks for helping fight muslim anti-yugoslavs and your whole perception of the facts show that your case is alittle too fishy to ignore... i am talking more specifically about greece's treatment of it's ethnic macedonian minority, and the serbian/yugo ignorance of this issue. it allowed greece to hellenise the region freely.

chento, you are forgetting the fact that in 1921, 1,000,000 greeks were violently displaced from asia minor to makedonia. you are forgetting that Tito's interventionism did not stop untill after 1955, because the two countries signed a common agreement, under the blessings of the great powers, the borders were solidified, and apparently huge markets were opened for yugoslavia and a great deal of industrialization in the mountainous country of yugoslav makedonia... it is very complicated and if we look at it, single-sided-ly we come up with distorted views.
YES, i acknowledge the disrespect of the greek slav citizens, but also i acknowledge the disrespect of ex-yugo mak-slavs against the indigenous greek population of makedonia who wanted to remain greek.
we both failed to have a common philosophy of mutual understanding, and that is because we tried to rely solely on the big powers to do the job for us.
frankly dude, Serbia stopped having special relations with greece in about 1918, and in Greece we didn't know of the existence of Serbia till 1992 when the wars broke out. Before that it was only yugoslavia for us. We didn't know anything about makedonia/bosnia/serbia/etc.... Your perception of the facts is .... a little skewed i would say..

it's not too late. i think once the name issue is resolved, things will change markedly between the two countries.

I guess we both know which forums we are talking about. And no, it is not limited to some immature youth. I am talking about adults that really believe they have spawned off Alexanders next of kin. Then you have churches with occupied maps on their front doors with the effegy of Alexander on a dome. That is what I am referring to. Anyway, never had an issue with you Nikola. Just saying... I'm guessing macedoniantruth.org? I don't visit that site much but, from what I can gather, most people there acknowledge a Slavic element in my people. Either way, there are hardcore people on both sides. I just think that those most hardcore, are also the most ignorant and isolated.

Its always about the freaken name. Chento, l ask you, how will your government guarantee the Greek nation that it won't ever have territorial aspirations toward northern greece.

Chento, l ask you, how will your government guarantee the Greek nation that it won't ever have territorial aspirations toward northern greece. we have already done this by amending our constitution. i think it is more appropriate for the greek state to do the same. they have more ability to take territory from us, then we can from them. in saying this though, all guarantees, written agreements etc. mean nothing when war breaks out. new agreements are then made according to who won the war.
