^Yes I agree, even though I doubt there will be a greco-turkish war in the near future, turkey is being very aggressive with foreign policy, but I have to say: It is becoming very liked among turks.

Really Kasto?...u think that Greece in its current financial status will do well in a war with Turkey?.. I guess all you can do is pray that Turkey goes to war with 2/3 different countries and the EU also gives you huge support to even "stand" a chance at the moment. The Kurds are even more integrated than ever. the AKP gets the majority of votes, there is a minority of pkk kurds in the east, but the majority are pro Turkey...so don't count your chickens before they hatch,.,,especially since Kurds are MUCH MORE religious than Turks

I dont want us to dirty our hands in a war against Turkey again...we will just watch you being bashed by the others... you do definitely deserve it.^^
The Kurds? They will side with their fellow countrymen in case of a war...no Erdogan no AKP can avert that...blood is thicker than water.

Turkey has a pretty strong military, I doubt they'd lose to a few separatists and the Greek army.

dont underestimate the Greek army. I see Turkey in future getting stronger and stronger, gaining more and more self-confidence and seing itself as a leader of the arab countries....they could form sth like an alliance...Europe and Russia will not like that...and Israel (thus the USA) either..

dont underestimate the Greek army. No offense, but if Greece entered a war without major outside help, your economy would collapse.

The French will support us as always. No, seriously, I didnt say I want Greece to start a war against Turkey, Im against a war against anyone...there shouldnt die any Greeks out there for a war.
but as for Turkey...Im very excitedly observing their foreign policy and I think if they go on like that (and the AKP will stay in power at least for the next 10 years, I dont see how Erdogan could lose his popularity) Turkey will start to form a counterpole to the western world. What we now need is a strong self-confident Turkey...and let them head straight into disaster...Im just interested in this country's destruction, Im against this country, too much have they harmed my nation in history...they must pay one day. Lets wait and see..

Well, there's no point in figuring how it will play out because a war between the two is extremely unlikely. They're members of the same alliance.

@ missanthropology what I wanted to say is that the people there do not look Greek...no familiar faces....they look like there are not from these regions (Thrace, Europe) but immigrated there.. What's a Greek look? Greeks don't look the same and Asia Minor is Pontus lol the Greek part in Anatolians is Potanic or partial Potanic Greeks ( who are Turks because they were pronounced ''Turkish'' when they converted to Islam and moved there ) No, I didn't say Turks are Greeks or Turks look like Greeks what I have said was native Anatolians as in Asia Minor Turks ( not Mongol Turks or Kurds to the South of Anatolia ) are partly Greek and it quite clearly says that if you google Anatolian Turks or has they are more commonly known as ''Yoruks''

He says Constantinople because that's it's offical name because the Greeks got there before the Turks a Turk is just a Greek or partly Greek Muslim. It makes total sense why the Turks would go to the Southern part of the Balkans it totally re-writes history Why don't we call it what the Byzantines originally called it; "New Rome"? Sounds classier. Because it was the capital of the Byzantine Empire which was before the Ottoman Empire

Because it was the capital of the Byzantine Empire which was before the Ottoman Empire But "New Rome" preceded "Constantinople".

Napoleon dont talk crap, "Nea Romi" is simply an addition to "Konstantinoupolis"....."Konstantinoupoli kai Nea Romi" (Constantinople and New Rome)...

It's just another name for Istanbul, Istanbul Constantinople
and Asia Minor is Pontus because most of the Greeks that hang around Anatolia are North Greeks because Most Greeks are Ionian or ''Potanic''
