Hover-crafts and invading military facilities? What do you talk about, Basil? It is best to reduce military expenditures for both countries. Everyone gets the benefit. You know very well what I'm talking about. There are 2 types of military expences; One has to do with 'defend' and one has to do with 'attack'. If 2 neigboring countries both spend for "defend".. there is no 'race' betwwen them.. means no huge expences. If one of the 2 neighbors spends on "attack".. the other neighbor must spend huge amounts on... "defence". In other words.. if Turkey was interested only to defend Turkey... and all the military expences were about it... then there would be no need for "race" between Greece and Turkey. The problem is that Turkey gives 95% of the budget for buying stuff that will help in a future war to 'attack" Greek islands... not to "defend' from the Greek islands. This way Greece always has to buy better and better "defending" methods for the islands. There can be no better ties between the 2 countries as far as one of them prepares for an "attack" and not for a "defence" in a future war.

Turkey hopes better Greek ties lower defense costs Jannisary cut the crap. All the military expenditures in western Turkey are about "attack" and all military expenditures of Greece in Aegean are about "defence". Search and read about the military expences of the 2 countries and stop the crap. Nobody who wants peace gives 95% of his military budget for hovercrafts and "invading" military facilities .. So please.. cut the crap. We're grown ups here..

I have to say, Im quite happy that this happened. It has launched a new wave of Hellenophobia in Albania that I have for so long waited for. Very very nice. One more and hopefully we might have an Albanian kristallnacht on Greek owned stored. As far as you remember that after the night of "kristallnacht"..... the "fall of Berlin" followed ;D ;D

I invite those idiots to come and protest in Albania, Tirana, in Skanderbeg square...I am sure they will be acting just like a Juliet. They will never have done it. Fascists in generally.. act "brave' when they feel safe and always in big numbers. Never alone. See Toskali for example.. I'm sure, during his visits in Greece he is the best tourist ;D ;D

Taking under account your.. arguments.. these 2 questions come in my mind: 1) Scenario: Italy attacks and occupies Greece.. and confiscates our military ships... and ofcourse they control the new govermnet and PM of Greeece.... and with a Greek ship and a Greek captain..BUT full of Italian sailors and Italians bombs who come to Ionian Sea and start bombing Albanian towns... and suddenly.. Albanian army hits back and shinks the ship. Question: Albania has declared war to Greece since they shank the boat of a neighbor who was not in war with Albania? Albanians should be considered hostile since they have shank a Greek ship (..means Greek land) and killed a Greek captain? 2) During the "famous" Greek invasion in Albania who was against the Albanians and Albanian poor people... Greeks bombed Albanian towns and cities.. or just positions of Italian forces near the borders with Greece.. means mountains and valleys? Can you provide me with some data with the destruction of Tirana or any other major Albanian city from the Greek forces. I'm sure you can since the target was Albanians and not Italians... And finally leshte.. if you want to discuss about international history and wars.. learn about the trends.. If US has nuclear bomb in a military base in Greece as it used to have... and suddenly US and USSR start a war..... then... USSR has EVERY RIGHT TO NUKE GREECE!.. regardless if Greece is in war with USSR or not. Its their right! the moment Greece allowed US to place nukes in the land of Greece. USSR says every right to protect itself and eliminate and temporary or future threat coming for this place. In such a scenario.. Greeks should accuse Greeks for allowing or even accepting the presure of Americans for leaving their nuclear stuff Greek land... .not Russians for bombing Greece. That is called self critisism and that is mentaly healthy. Capishe?

How is that any different from the Greeks who made themselves comfortable in Ali Pasha's lands? We're talking about military invasion ordered by a nation state. It is factually true that Greek armies invaded Albania. Its a fact not an opinion. Opinions can be argued, facts cannot be argued. So as an invader your d!ckheads have no reason whatsoever to feel pissed about. So that is what you gonna teach you children leshte? That Greeks invaded Albania? What about..." 'Musholini's Italy attacked a peacefull country, Greece, who at that time was really a poor country and the last thing they had in mind was a war... , and Italy attacked Greece through our land Albania after the permission our leader gave to Italy to use Albanian land for the attack..... and Greeks attacked back to the Italian army who was all over Greek and Albanian land and kicked them back in Ionian Sea." Its the same story.. without the Turkalbanian element.. Now.. do you understand why you.. or any other fanatic Albanian who will teach his children the Turkalbanian far-fetched story... has no right to elaborate or be critical to Greek racist and neonazi chants? I can can be critical to them or any other fanatic regardless where is he from.. you cannot.

Basil, what is it with you and rain and forgetting umbrellas and seeing stuff you're not supposed to be seeing as a result? ;D By the way even for special units this $hit is not normal. You don't brainwash them by using fictitious enemies. Last time we had a war was 50 years ago, and you guys attacked and invaded us, not the opposite. So wtf are you singing B$ like that for. Move on. Our special units don't occupy themselves with bull$hit like this. Believe me I say this based on inside information. In some ways the mentality of segments of the Greek society is back to the medieval times. I have in mind specifically this army d!ckheads and the religious d!ckheads and the clergy. You can't remove the frustrations of having Turkish planes flying over Athens, and Turkish ships going through Attica by some badly made rhymes. Bad move, really bad move, since being NATO members our guys are in close proximity to your guys in training missions and real missions. Next time you hear some $hit happening in training or a real mission between our army guys and your army guys you should know that it originated from stupid bull$hit by these idiots. Listen leshte. It is tottaly normal to brainwash 100-150 people who belong to this unit. They're the first dead of even a mini scale war. When you want people to be ready to die 10' after the start of a conflict.. you need to brainwash them. If you dont brainwash them and you dont make them fanatics.. you just lost the reason for the unit to exist. Period. Second, its not difficult to brainwash them. You dont brainwash them against fictionary enemies. You just tell them to visit the Albanian forum and take a look at the posts about Greeks ;D ;D. If their age is around 19-25.. everything is too easy for their brainwashing criteria. Thrid, ALL the special units are brainwashed. Have you any idea how much Americans brainwash their with everybody who is muslim has bear and is Arab? Just search and learn. And finally, it possible to have quarells in a mission where Greeks and Albanians are.. not because of the specific special units.. but because of ordinary Albanians like you or Toskali saying "you invaded our country" (you).. or "I hope Turkey bombs Greece" or.. "Chams should have kill all Epirots" (by professor Toskali) etc etc etc. You dont need to be in Seals to feel that muslims kids from our neighboring country get brainwashed from the moment the got born and they have that non-friendly and even more.. hostile attitude towards a neighbor.. Before you judge this unit.. just look at yourselfs. Count the brainwashed fanatic Albanians in the Albanian forum... count the brainwashed Greeks in the Greek forum.. take out the percentage and see where you are as a nation

Nice to hear that Basil, because here in this forum except you and Soyuz that condemned that incident, the others didn't say a word about how stupid and racist that incident was, and to tell you the truth I thought that was the main stream in Greece too, and that is disturbing to even think of it... I'm 100% sure Albquiteman that here in this forum almost all Greeks condemn this incident. I'm 100% sure also that all these people who condemn this incident have a slight difficulty to express it to someone like you who post threads in Albanian forum about 'Black Athena theories" and other stupidies against Greeks. As I told you.. one thing brings the other.. "If you want from him to act like Romeo.. you must act like Juliet" says the famous old song "Its raining men".. ;D

it seems Greeks don't feel being in an economic crisis is enough, it should get worse thru war LOL some thoughtless comments here. ...but that is what we're talking about; the economic crisis is a result of a non-existent war. Buying guns for a huge period should stop. You have an economic crisis same as the one of a war.. without the war! How smart is that?

My personal belief is that sooner or later Greece and Turkey will have a full scale war. Turkish provocations is not something temporary or something light. Their official strategy is a need for 'vital space" like Hitler once mentioned. These provocations are constant and they escalating. As international history shotws.. war comes after. Turkey cannot enter EU with their "ala Turka" policies and they know it. Also they cannot change these poilicies. So, sooner or later they will start a war. My opinion is that this war should start the faster the better. The sooner it takes place, the sooner it will finish. We do the same mistake we did back in 1940 with Italians. They were provocative for years. They even shank one of our boats and despite we knew it.. we didnt react. Now after so many years.. we say that being in war with Italians was a wise decision. So, since history shows that after many provocations, war comes.. then why not start it now? We can not avoid it.. so lets start the party and who knows what the result of a party like this will be.. You never know.. Turks feel condfident.. but Italians felt confident too. Germans felt confident too. Japanese in Pearl Harbor felt confident too. So.. lets see if Turks deserve to be so confident. If it is for us to destroy economicaly our country by buying guns.. lets destroy it by using them. Thats my opinion. I do not agree that war is inevitable, and I do not think that there will be a war sooner or later. In my opinion, increased number of Turkish activities in the Aegean sea is the message designed for the EU, not for Greece directly. Personally I dont knoe the plans of Turkey. But i do know the concequences. 20-30 years for unstopable gun expenditures for Greece. The same expences for Turkey play no role because of the quality leaving standards Turkish society has. I mean.. a Turk in rural area.. or a poor Turk meaning huge percent of Turkish society does not care about Turkish arms expences. He is uneducated.. fed by nationalist stuff... and keeps sleaping on the ground happily dreaming the Ottoman Empire. The Greek citizen things tottaly different; 'lets finish with it so for us to move economically towards." So as you can see.. the ones who loose is the Greek society who has high standarts. Turkey knows that and that is why the keep pushing and pushing. Remember that. If Turkey will enter EU and if EU goes stronger... USA will 'push" Turkey to start a war with one member of EU. I believe is innevitable.

Germans and Japanese lost to the higher power of numbers that America and Russia put out. The industrial capability of both was completely topped by the industrial capabilities of USSR and the US. You guys compare yourself to the economic and industrial power of these nations? The US was able to field dozens more ships to defeat the Japanese, who could not sustain the heavy losses as well, and the Soviet Union took 26 million to kill 8 million Germans. Turkey not only has higher industrial capabilities, but higher numerical power as well... To put it simply: in a comparison between Turkey and Greece, Turkey is the US and Greece is Japan. 1000 deaths to the Turkish army is far less tough than a 1000 deaths for the Greek army. Eitherway, Im not too sure, but I dont believe either country produces its own weapons... while Germany, USSR, US and Japan did. do you believe that Japan or Germany during their war plans didnt take under account the reaction and the capabilities of Americans and Russians respectively? They knew what US and Russia are capable for... but they "were sure for the result" and they had a lot of confidence. That is how Turkey thinks today. "we're a super power.. we're sure for the results". The same with US in Vietnam. The same with USSR in Aphganistan. The same with US in Iraq and Aphganistan. The same with Israel during their last failed attack in Lebanon. The same with the failed US attack in Somalia. That is how history goes; whoever starts a conflict.. analyzes the data and opponents' dynamics.... feels confident.. and starts it. My father gave me a very good advice when I was younger; "You never know how a conflict will finish regardlless how it seems to be now". And that true. During Greek revolution against Ottoman Empire the odds were against Greece. 1000 rebels.. against an organized army... against Austria and all the Royal houses of Europe who didnt like changes in status quo of authorities.... and finally..... those same Royal houses show an opportunity in this revolution and suddenly they changed their plans. That is how it goes; you never know the result when you start something. Nothing is as it seems to be.
