what!?!? LMAO!!!!! Ya, just take a few minutes and look up Slavic Pride.... lmao... you're a f**king idiot. For a SERB to be a proud SERB automatically implies being a Slav. Same goes for all Slavic peoples' and nations. Slavs have nothing to do with Illyrians and Greeks you retard, it's the other way around. Our influence spread - not yours. You never had one. So Plato, Aristotle, Homer, Socratis, were all under slavic influence? How did they do it, by putting letters of winsdom on pigeons feet and sending them from the Carpates into Athens? GTFO slavic Chicken s**t HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA B-R-E-A-K----D-O-W-N

Pyrros is proud of Slavs, even though he's not one. That's always something. Czechs are Slavs and they can be proud, with good reason too. Why should Slavs be ashamed? Myabe because part of their race there are also other nations that are called Serbia and Macedonia? Serbs = Slavs Macedonains = Slavs How come none of them is proud of being a Slav but try to associate themselves with other European races? Was it Czechs the ones to be called Bohemians back in the time? You first need to understand what being Slavic means. I suggest you look that up. There's too many things wrong with your post.

Albanians, better known as shiptari in our lands; are the definition of a rat-pack. Only rats act in such a way. True warriors, leaders and nations would never tolerate their own who act in the way the shiptars do. Evidence of their insecurity towards their own identity is seen through their own rhetoric never mind actions... they have no self-esteem as a nation, no pride whatsoever. They push but can never take being pushed back hollering out being the victim of discrimination when really no one gives a f**k... running to the teacher kind of deal... when a kid needs to learn to man-up, the Albanians never have. Which is why being "low" for them, is never really being low... it's just being an Albanian. They mask their own nothingness with the red-black colors and nothing else... screaming shipteria!! shipteria!! while feeling empty and lonely inside... there's nothing there. Feel pitty, not hate. They'll be saved one day, when they're back at being at my boot level. It is not Albanians trying to associate themselves with all the European races. There Slavs the ones trying to be either Greeks, Illyrians, Thracians, Etruscians, Celtic or even Germanic. When in reality they re none of that. They re simply Slavs. How come I never read someone being proud of being Slav. Talking about security. I would have respected my ancestors even if they would have been from China or India. Hey slav, even an ethopian is more proud of his ancestors than you are. what!?!? LMAO!!!!! Ya, just take a few minutes and look up Slavic Pride.... lmao... you're a fucking idiot. For a SERB to be a proud SERB automatically implies being a Slav. Same goes for all Slavic peoples' and nations. LOL it was not communism that spoiled the relationship between Serbs and Brits. In fact it was the brits/americans who installed Tito/communism in yugoslavia. Hello!! remember? The answer to why Brits now dislike Serbs, is that they (brits) can never have true friends (always selling them out). They did it with yugoslavia, they did it with lybia, now they do it to Greece..... Nobody has benefited from their fake friendship. Therefore, i take all pro-Serb western propaganda of WWI with a grain of salt. Many true things by Laffan, but in reality he is no different than e.g. Noel Malcolm. Laffan was paid to be pro-Serb. Malcolm anti-serb. f**k the brits.... Long live inter-slav brotherhood ... May Veles and Triglav and Perun come down to this earth and be glorious KIngs of the slavs. all else is destined to fail..... short-lived fake friendships are destine to bring more mysery. same holds from the ustase nazis, and those unbeleivable boslims as well... They are f**ked.... You're talking in todays context. The writer is speaking of back then, during. There's a huge difference you're missing. Fuck the Brits - this is about the content in between all the BS.

Earlier this year, we posted about Bacha Posh, the little cross-dressing girls of Afghanistan who spend their childhood dressing and living as boys. But there are places in this world where women swap genders for an entire lifetime. Albania is one such place, where sworn virgins exist in accordance with their familial code of ethics called Kanun, of Leke Dukagjini. According to the non-religious Kanun tradition, families in some parts of Albania must be both patrilineal and patrilocal. This means the family wealth is always inherited by the men, and a woman moves into her husband’s home after marriage. Marriages are arranged at a very young age, if not at birth, and once deemed eligible to marry, the woman must become a part of her husband’s family. The role of a woman is severely circumscribed, reduced to taking care of the children and maintaining a home. A woman’s life is considered to be worth only half of that of a man. For the followers of the Kanun tradition, dress is an important marker to distinguish between genders. The men wear trousers, close-fitting caps and wrist watches, while women are dressed in skirts, headscarves, aprons and sometimes even veils. That actually doesn’t sound too odd, does it? But here’s the twist – a woman can choose to become a man in a Kanun society, by simply dressing like one. So an Albanian woman who dresses like a man, is a man. A change in dress is all that’s needed for a change in gender. Born out of a social necessity, women who become men in Albania are called Virgjinesha (the sworn virgins). The process for a woman to become a Virgjinesha is actually pretty simple. All she needs to do is take a vow under the law of Kanun to become a man. And from that day on, she becomes one. She has to dress like a man, walk, talk, act and work like one. She must remain celibate all her life. She is even referred to as a ‘he’. She automatically assumes the role of the head of the family, and takes on certain important responsibilities like supervising the wealth of the family, defending the family in blood feuds and also receiving guests. The Virgjinesha becomes her family’s representative in the community. This may seem like a huge sacrifice to some, but to the women of Albania it is actually a window of opportunity – to live a life of more freedom and social mobility. There are a couple of conditions that need to be met, however, before a woman is permitted to become a Virgjinesha man. Either she must choose not to marry her pre-arranged husband or anyone else, or, her parents may view the transition as necessary if they have no other male heirs. While the first is mainly to avoid having an arranged marriage, the second move is to make sure that the wealth stays within the family, as only men are allowed an inheritance. But then there are always exceptions to the rule. There are those rare times when a woman will choose to become a man simply because she is more comfortable that way. Case-in-point is Lule, who at the age of 19, decided to become a Virgjinesha in spite of having a brother. Today she is responsible for a household of 10, including her brother’s children. Her family refers to her as ‘he’, and she runs a welding business while tending to the family’s lands. Her hair is cropped short; she wears trousers and a wristwatch. Of course, she will be treated like all other men if the family is ever a part of a blood feud, but that is a small price to pay in exchange for basic rights and freedom. (woooaw trippy ... what's going on here ) 78-year-old Pashe Keqi, a Virgjinesha who has lost almost all traces of ever having been a woman, says that times have now changed. Having made the transition over 60 years ago, she says, “Back then, it was better to be a man because before, a woman and an animal were considered the same thing. Now, Albanian women have equal rights with men and are even more powerful, and I think today it would be fun to be a woman.” Dressed in baggy trousers, sitting with her legs open wide like a man’s and speaking in a baritone voice, Keqi says she would certainly choose womanhood had she been born in Albania today. The ritual was more prevalent in the Albania of the olden times, when it was a small nation cut-off from the rest of mainstream Europe under a Stalinist dictatorship. Today, things are different, and most girls no longer want to be boys. www.odditycentral.com/news/women-living-as-men-the-sworn-virgins-of-albania.htmlVery interesting found out about it recently, how come you guys don't teach us about this kind of stuff instead preaching about Lord of the rings fairy tales? I was only joking when I used to compare Albanians to Sub-saharan Africans and Afghanis. I see now the simmiliarities are uncanny. All the best to all Albanian women and may their journeys to become men be fruitful and rich with opportunities.

what do you mean when you say "not really"? You don t get dizzy? I was wondering if you know how to swim or not? Lake Ohrid is the best, every time I wanted to piss, I always made sure I was pissing in the Macedonian side. And here is just one example why Albanians are never welcomed any where. When ever I think of Albanians, I picture John Belushi saying "how much for your daughter" hahahaha

I believe there are some witnesses and that the UN was investigating their claims. I didn't label Albanians are organ traffickers, but it seems that many of you laughed it off, even you did at one point, if I'm not mistaken. The same goes with the human trafficking...some Albanians took pride in that and no Albanian on this forum spoke against those who did. THE SERBS - THE GUARDIANS OF THE GATE
Oxford University Press London Edinburgh Glasgow New Tork Toronto Melbourne Cape Town Bombay Humphrey Milford Publisher to the University 1918 HISTORICAL LECTURES ON THE SERBS BY R. G. D. LAFFAN, C.F.
FELLOW OF QUEENS' COLLEGE, CAMBRIDGE************* 1918 FOREWORD by Vice-Admiral E.T. Troubridge "The Serbians are a people but little known in Great Britain. This extremely interesting book by the Rev. R. G. D, Laffan, C.F. will, I am confident, help our nation to understand them better, and, in understanding, to appreciate the sterling qualities that underlie their national character. I have lived among the Serbians during the past three years, in days, and under circumstances, which encourage the revelation of every human attribute: in the days immediately following their first success, when they triumphantly flung out of Serbia the 'Punitive expedition' of their powerful neighbour and relentless enemy: in long and weary days of tenacious defence: in the days of overwhelming and treacherous attack upon them, with hope of succour growing less and less: in days of terrible marches in a fighting retreat through their beloved country under moral and physical conditions surely never paralleled in the history of any nation: in the days of regeneration of all that was left of them: and finally in days of eager and reckless fighting to regain that which they had lost. The qualities which they have displayed throughout these fateful years should especially appeal to the inhabitants of our Empire. A love of freedom and country as deeply implanted as our own. A loyalty to friends that does not falter under the greatest temptation, and a chivalry so innate that hundreds of our countrywomen could walk hundreds of miles through a great army in a harassed retreat, through a fleeing peasantry in a disorganized and strange land, and yet fear no evil.
From such experiences a judgment can be formed; I permit myself, with the Serbians, to believe in a Serbia great and flourishing in the future, pursuing her national development and ideals in peace and quietness, bound to Great Britain in the closest ties of friendship, and once more — as for centuries past — holding the gate of freedom of life, of freedom of thought, against the sinister forces of moral enslavement. Serbia has indeed well and bravely answered the great question He asked: 'What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul?'"E. T. Troubridge 1918 *************************** PREFACE to “The Serbs – The Guardians of the Gate”
by R.G.D. Laffan, C.F.The title, “The Guardians of the Gate”, is borrowed from a phrase applied to the Serbs by several speakers, in particular by Mr. Lloyd George [British Prime Minister] in his speech on August 8. It is a summary of the services which the Serbs have always done their best to render to Christendom : for their country is, indeed, one of the gateways of civilized Europe. Despite their unhappy divisions and their weakness in numbers they have never ceased to struggle against the barbarisms of Turkestan and Berlin, which at different times have threatened to overflow the Western nations and the Mediterranean lands. ******************************* "In the past most Englishmen, who have spoken to me about the Balkans, have expressed very decided views. Nine out of ten have said that all the Balkan nations were as bad as each other; that, as between Turks and Christians, it was six of one and half-a-dozen of the other; that all were savages and cut-throats and past praying for. The tenth man has usually been a philanthropic crank, who would only see good points in his own pet Balkan nation, and who wished to make it by industrialization and party politics into an imitation of Great Britain." " Now, when we return to England, we shall, at any rate, be in a position to declare that we found one Balkan race, the Serbs, to consist of the best of fellows. Our companies have had Serbs attached to them, as guards or drivers, and very sorry we were when they were withdrawn. Though most of us could not say anything to them except 'Dobro' (‘Good’), we managed to understand them, and to make ourselves understood. They were always cheerful, kindly, helpful, with a skill in many handicrafts that made camp-life more comfortable for themselves and us. And I think we may flatter ourselves that they liked us and our ways, and found the British character sympathetic with their own." "But, though first-hand acquaintance with some Serbs is essential to any knowledge of the people, I believe that you would like also to understand something of the nation's past and of the mental background from which the Serbs view the world. It is for that reason that I have undertaken to deliver these lectures. They will deal with the history of the Serbs in recent times; because it is impossible to understand the characteristics and point of view of a people, especially a people so nationalist and traditionalist as the Serbs, apart from their history…" "…It will be necessary throughout to remember that the Serbs look back with pride to the great days of their independence in the Middle Ages, and to their empire which once embraced the whole Balkan peninsula, except southern Greece and the coast-towns." "They were a great people six hundred years ago. Never have they been more glorious than in their present humiliation, exile, and disruption. But, please God, that spiritual glory which encircles them to-day will soon be expressed in the 'outward and visible signs' of material greatness, and they will again take their place among the mighty nations of the earth." R.G.D. Laffan ****** In researching the history of the Serbians, the “old” books, now often out of print but still available if you search for them, are invaluable. Given the particularly volatile relationship the Serbs have had with the British over the years, it’s important to consider just how highly the Brits regarded the Serbs BEFORE the poison of Communism and political expediency entered into and compromised that relationship.R.G.D. Laffan was one of several Britons who publicly shared their experiences with the Serbs in World War One and documented them in print. I’m very grateful that they did so, because what they had to say was from the heart and reflects an image of the Serbians as the people and the heroes that they really were. quote: "General, Please Ask the Serbs to Slow Down…”90 years ago, on September 13 1918, at dawn, the Commander-in-Chief of the Allied Forces in the Balkans, French General Franchet d’Espérey, ordered the final offensive for the breakthrough of the Thessaloniki front. Serbian Army which led the offensive on the ground played the key role in a battle studied even today at countless military academies throughout the world, as a shining example of*glorious victory. At 5:30 a.m. the Serbian troops began and unstoppable surge from the Greek border back in to Serbia, to free their motherland, pushing the Austrians, Germans and Bulgarians out of their country. In 12 days they advanced 800 miles on foot, forcing the French general to telegraph his counterpart in the Serbian Army, General Stepanovic: “General, please ask the Serbian infantry to slow down, the French cavalry cannot keep up the pace!” The command issued by General Zivojin Misic to the Serbian Army at the dawn of the battle was brief and clear:“Boldly press forward, without rest, to the utter limits of the human and horse strength. To death, just don’t stop! With the unwavering faith and hope: Heroes, forward! to the fatherland!” On September 13 1918, the state which was at the brink of complete destruction in the fall of 1915 — occupied by the most powerful empires, left without the army, government and king — rose up from the ashes and amazed the world with its courage and willingness to sacrifice for freedom. quote: “These Serbs are tough in trouble, sober, modest, unbreakable. They are the free men, proud of their nation and the masters of their fields… For the freedom of their homeland these peasants instantly turned into the most courageous soldiers, the most persistent, the best of all soldiers,” - French General Franchet d’Espérey, Commander-in-Chief of the Allied troops in WWI.Serbian World War One campaign en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serbian_Campaign_(World_War_I)

On one end Europe with Germany in front center is trying to unite and strengthen Europe and with it its armpit called Balkans and create bonds with resource rich Russia. On the other end there is US and England trying to pull it apart by creating divisions within it. THis whole Albanian-Serbian conflict is us part of that game. PS: Please guys no insults of mothers and lets resume adult behavior. Like it or not reality is you are all part of Balkan family only divided by bigger powers for their own gains.Grow F brains for once. I would like to agree with you and my God I have tried but there's clearly a difference in the nature and behavior of the two peoples'. You mention "family", but it's like talking about a human resolving his issues with a chimpanzee. It just can't happen, the human needs to lay down the law for the chimpanzee to follow and eventually evolve further. This is the case with the SERB and the shiptars.

Serbia did not screw up that monument needed to go down and any level headed non-nationalist person would see that. Unfortunately you're extreme in both ways; you're not leveled at all in your thinking and your blinded by nationalism.
Look rex, put the hate aside and see the difference. That terrorist monument was taken down respectfully, the Serbs could have made a scene and a mess out of it but they didn't and what is the shiptar reaction? Primitive to say the least. Attacking cemeteries and churches. You're asking once again for a cleansing is what I'm saying. What do you think is going to happen when Serbia pulls into Kosovo and presevo? and you know this will happen one day. They'll flatten everything and expel whoever without any thought or concern of regret - thanks to how you have bred yourselves to be, Serbs cannot ever have guilt, regret or second thought on how they deal with shiptars.
I say send the military in once and for all and get all those terrorists on their knees within a couple of hours, get it over with. We all know this is the case the Albanians know it especially, hence how like beggars the shiptars were going around looking for support = you got 0 before the monument got taken.
I don't know what the Government is up to, but this whole fiasco makes the Albanians look like shit. I would suggest for Serbia to make this issue international (not Albanians) and show the world what you're people have done. Europeans would be ashamed of you - as Dacic said; You attack the lowest way possible - attacking graves - a symbol of civilization and hummanity. Your people are only cursing themselves.

The Greek alphabet is the script that has been used to write the Greek language since the 8th century BC. It was derived from the earlier Phoenician alphabet. The Phoenician alphabet, called by convention the Proto-Canaanite alphabet for inscriptions older than around 1050 BCE, was a non-pictographic consonantal alphabet, or abjad. It was used for the writing of Phoenician, a Northern Semitic language, used by the civilization of Phoenicia. Titus Flavius Josephus - The Antiquities of the Jews, 1.122–1.153 Now as to Javan and Madai, the sons of Japhet; from Madai came the Madeans, who are called Medes, by the Greeks; but from Javan, Ionia, and all the Grecians, are derived. lexundria.com/j_aj/1.122-1.153/wstInformation about Abrahamic religions is opened in a threat on this forum. Take pride on your Jewish origin. There you have it. Stop harassing the Nobles Pelasgians.
