you should, however, be ashamed of jacking up some else's heritage...romei mongrel! ha! what I'm afraid your one confused person; Constantine decided to found a new Rome, and in AD 324 he moved the capital to the East, to the Greek city Byzantium on the Bosporus. He named the city Constantinople after himself. The empire was still Rome, though, and the inhabitants called themselves Romans or Romei in Greek.www.in2greece.com/english/historymyth/history/general/byzantine.htmThe Byzantium empire is a Greco - Roman empire you knew that right ?

therefore, to all intents and purposes, you are a conglomerate race made of many ethnic groups contrived at the whim of an emperor who founded a multicultural empire, this melting pot of peoples make up today's greeks.

Bingo, you fundamentally changed what you call yourselves from hellenes to "Romans" and then later in the 19th century had a nationalist reawakening where you are taught your own history by the west and start calling yourselves "hellenes" again.
You guys stopped being "ancient hellenes" a long time ago, that culture and part of you is gone forever, but can still be admired.
To say that you are culturally the same as the ancients is folly. Modern Greek culture is a product of the Ottoman Empire.

Emperor AAdmin thanx . never !!! haahaaa We have preserved our origin of the Greek race , Greek blood Greeks never lost their Greek identity culture language religion etc... We are direct descent of the ancient Greeks according to racial anthropology roughly half of today's Turkish population is in reality turkmenized Byzantines or Greeks (35% in form of Dinaricized Mediterraneans and 20% in the form of East Mediterranean's). Racialy pure Turks are none existant but rather mixed Greek-Persian-Turkics are around 20% in central Anatolia (Konya region). Turks of Greek ancestry number around 30 million (or staggering three time the number of Greeks in Greece)

O so every skyscraper in the world is American? Every pair of jeans is American? Every language with latin letters is Italian? Every car in every part of the world is a Daimler-Benz? IS that what you're trying to prove with that picture, Karta?
P.S The Egyptians used columns in their buildings much earlier than the Greeks. So did the Greek steal Egyptian culture by using columns?

and what does this BS mean ? Each style of Greek Column has its own unique style and architecture. The Egyptian have only one style of columns but the Ancient Greeks used 3 style of columns.

So what? Egyptians came up with columns much earlier than you guys did. Similar to US and skyscrapers. Are all skyscrapers the same? NO. Are all skyscrapers American. NO. Are all buildings with columns Egyptian? NO. Are they Greek? NO. Point being, it is stupid to claim everything to be Greek because some building looks like what greeks buildings used to look because the greeks used columns. Newsflash, you copied them from the Egyprians. So by the same token we should claim all those beuilding as being Egyprian. People copy whatever is in style at that time. Doesn't make it property of one country or another.

Iibo ,your hate for Greeks has blinded you..Egyptians did nothing...they gave mankind a big Zero..so did the Romans.... they had not a single shred of intellectual property that belonged to them..every part of their culture was Greek. Romans admit this... every thing was handed to them on a golden platter by Alexander..
Another pathetic attempt on your part..aren't you ashamed..?
Egyptians..LOL! I gotta tell that one tomorrow to the guys....
