yeah... I don't look like them... I'm very handsome you know? Bulgarians should search for work in Romania because wages are higher here, then you will understand how good people are Romanians.

Romania is generally a cold country, I prefer the warm weather, the warm summer water, laying on the beach in Nesebar. If I decide to move on the Bolkans, I d choose Greece, its warmer and the wages are the highest

You know Ioane that is not that correct what you say...in Bulgaria because of mountains it's the same climate as in Romania, perhaps in summer is more hotter in Romania as in Bulgaria. Only South of Bulgaria may be warmer than in Romania, anyway I don't think you prefer Bucuresti with 42-43 °C in every summer where are 2.5 millions around you and no possibility to escape

Greece is too hot for me for any kind of holidays. I'd preffer Croatian and Slovene coast.

You cannot compair it with Austria - that's simply impossible. ;D I've been to Romania, I can see how are i.e. the conditions in your villages. Pls, don't go off tipic too much.

Prevailing - maybe. But still there are other theories that should be paid attention to. Anyways, no matter what I dont think genetically they gave significant contribution to us (if they were turkic), though their role as state builders is vital. As far as I know, Volga Bolgars were not the only people who contributed to today's population of Danube Bulgaria. On top of Volga Bolgars, there were Cuman, Pecheneg and perhaps some Oghuz (Uzz by the Byzantines) Turks who settled in the region before the Ottomans came into play. So, in a sense, Danube Bulgarians must be genetically related to the Turks at some degree. Janny, give us some news about what's known concerning the old Thracians states of western TR - i.e. Troy, Bythinia or Lydia. Do historians or media in TR write anything about it? Yes they do publish news from time to time, but what kind of news do you refer? New archaeological findings, or the history of the Thracian States as interpreted in Turkey? By the way, I intend to settle near Troy in the future. I really love the place.
