^ its you three stooges:
- Ruse (Moe) - Asen (Curley) - Ioan (Shemp)
Who say either the Bulgars are not Turkic because its only a theory, then tell me later that they are a Iranic 'aryan' tribe more pure than Slavs themselves. The NAME BULGAR is TUUURKIC, the Bulgars LIKE OTHER TURKICS believed in TENGRI, spoke TURKIC, DRANK HORSE MILK airag, rode HORSES, had SHATRA'S, had SHAMENS and EAST ASIAN CALENDARS, dressed the SAME as other TURKICS and their FLAG was made from HORSES TAIL.
It is a theory, and this theory is only as credible as the other theories regarding Bulgar origin.
Like I said, the origin of the Bulgars is irrelevant when it comes to discussing the common origins of present day Bulgarians and Macedonians. Practically all independent scholars have agreed that Macedonians and Bulgarians were one and the same people. Hell, if you just open your ears and your eyes and compare Bulgarians, Macedonians, and Serbs (Torlaks excluded) you can easily see which groups look like each other.
But the vast majority of the population of Macedonia are Bulgars; up to the time of the first Balkan War no intelligent Greek or Serbian or Rumanian ever denied this.

And another progress montage of the two buildings across the river. They must be working more on the interiors in the last few months because they don't look like they have progressed much on the outside.
And they have also cleaned up the grafitti on the bridge itself which is good.
Actually, I've decided not to bother posting anymore pictures of projects because there is so much being built at the moment, I'd be here posting for hours! It's amazing!! From shopping malls, to highways, to bridges, to car dealerships, hotels, petrol stations, restaurants, entire upper class neighborhoods, etc, etc. And I had a look at other Balkan countries, and they too are building stuff that's even more amazing.
Balkan countries are finally joining the western world. Countries like Macedonia and Albania will notice the most change because they are so far behind.
The next step for Macedonia I'd like to see is some underground train system and also some trams. Who knows, it might even persuade me to move back there.
Ok, I know I said I won't post anymore but, I have to post some of that glass building because it turned out so nice. It's not finished yet but it's already looking amazing.
The rear end of it.
And I don't know if it was deliberate, but it appears to be reflecting a lot of sunlight onto the building behind. Looks quite interesting, but I wouldn't want to be working in one of those offices without air-con. ;D
Partly taxes. People only started paying taxes recently. Also loans from western Europe which will eventually be waived. It's in the wests best interest that countries like Macedonia start to develop a middle class, because that way, western Europe can sell more of their cars and goods.
But the shopping centers, supermarkets and hotels are private investments from other European countries.
It looks to me like this mall has been designed with future expansion in mind. Look at the way it just cuts off on this side, while it curves on the other. I can imagine the cut off side will join onto another portion just as large, at a later date.
Tinex supermarket. It may not seem like a big deal but Skopje has never even had supermarkets until recently. Some of my relatives didn't know how to shop at a supermarket in early 2009 but they learn fast.
