Now that I think of it, the Hungarians I met were also very nice. When I arrived at the Prague airport, I called a taxi. The driver was Hungarian. We spoke about our countries and s**t and when I arrived at the hotel, he wanted to give me a discount. I refused and gave him a nice tip instead. We departed as great friends. Its funny becouse whats going on in this forum ( and other places on the internet) and what is happening in reality are two very different things. Due to the nature of my job I`m working away , somewhere 30 km from the Hungarian border. So , I have the chance to work with a lot of Hungarians ( from Hungary) and they all are ok. They learned "multumesc" and we learned "szívesen" It is amusing to read the flaming on the forum, but the reality, once again , its different PS Whats up with inability of Hungarians (both Romanian Hungarian and Hungarians) to pronounce the "W" sound ? Its sounds like the Austrian legacy to me. When I`m speaking in English with them , its always : " ve go to" ; the last veekend" ,"vireless internet" And I`m talking about Hungarians who speak flawless English beside this.

cmon this topic and its asscociated flamewar is an old tradition on this board between the Ro and Hun forum.
It was fun to see a little bit of heated postings from both sides again.

But u definately got a Cuman, Pecheneg or Gagauz blood on ya dont ya? I doubt ur a gypsy or romanian. Cmon Annitas be honest. There's no W in Hungarian language that's why we use V instead of W. Very similar to Modern Turkish, their language uses V instead W as well.

No, as mentioned before, I have Polish and German roots, although I have at least 66 percent Romanian blood. That's not to say that I may not have any other roots if we go back further in time, but that can be said about anyone. So far, we're not aware of any such herritage.

Consider claiming your Polish or German roots when traveling abroad anita, you'll be better off in the long run. If you're a brown wallachian, you're up shit creek.

Never, you freak. LOL
I refused to adopt the Swedish identity, even though they would've accept me and they will refer to me as Swedish.

The most enlightened part of Moldavia is Bukowina. The reason is known to us all...
