That's why TRUE Greeks (1%-5%) like their ancestors (Slavs), while .. the rest 99-95% HATE Slavs/Serbs. Pseudo-Greeks live in Athens where they are exposed to western propaganda, true Greeks live in the countryside........ Same thing applies for Serbs.

No, its not so much Athens-related, but albano-vlah related. Few villagers like Serbs. There is no connection or analogy between Serbs and Greeks. Nothing can be paired. Vlahs of south->north Greece are all like albanians : anti-Slavs.

Vlahs of south->north Greece are all like albanians : anti-Slavs. how about South Greece, Peleponissos etc? In southest greece (Morejas = peloponese) there is some 10% Slavic minority which used to preserve some slavic words (Tata, Svetla, etc...). In fact this part (peloponese, which used to be called Moreja(s) by the old Slavic name : more=sea) has maybe more slavs than e.g. central Greece. Lots of blond ppl there. Those ppl are kind and I guess pro-Slav. The Slavic toponyms thrive in Morejas.

Traditionally scholars thought the name originated from the word morea (μορέα), meaning morus or mulberry, a tree which, though known in the region from the ancient times, gained value after the 6th century, when mulberry-eating silkworms were smuggled from China to Byzantium. The British Byzantinist Steven Runciman suggested that the name comes "from the likeness of its shape to that of a mulberry leaf." But Slavic people did settle in parts of peleponissos, who knows maybe there are slavic villages up there in the mountains

there are, check out "Slavohoria".
Moreja , (I insist the word is Slavic) was called like "Slavinija" back in 700 AD.
English traveller and priest : Miliband, passing by the southest shore of Moreaj, wrote in 700 AD that the land on the north is called : Slavinija. The place was full of Slavs.
Tow major tribes were : Milinci i Jezerci .
PS
Runciman?? Only Slavic books are allowed here man!!!!

Google is censored by the west.... You gotta find a local to tell you stories.
here are some info :
serveika.... the official saxan fabrication of history talks about Serbs ONLY down to Corinth and for 20 years only...
bare in mind that the local albanians modified the word Slav -> sClav, so that they can relate Slavs (glory) to SLAVES (junk workers)... that's classic .... just to know who your dealing with...

There's a pattern with the Slavic toponyms, where slavic tribes settled in the 7th century, for example Laconis in the south peleponissos there are a lot, also in the north there are a lot of slavic toponyms because of close proximity to Slavic countries with slavic minorities etc... What confuses me is crete..

as you see the whole land was Slavic.
In Crete three Slavic tribes reached and settled :
1) Croats - dont know when/why/how
2) Russians - eastern crete - I know some stuff on this one 3) Bulgarians in Chania : western Crete about 950 AD. Topolija - Bulgaro are two villages made by Bulgarians back then.
As you see my birth region - epiros (south of Albania) - is Champ with the most toponyms ...
The process that those Slavs left is identical with what happened in Kosovo. There is ONLY one way to make a Slavic majority to become minority.

It’s really interesting, l told Pyrro of this years ago. I met a Greek man, through my wife’s sister and he hails from Kozani. One evening we all met up for dinner and he asks me of my ancestry and l tell him Serbian, he just starred at me for a bit, he then tells me his village from within Kozani used to be called Mokra before authorities renamed it.
