Now that proves you either: a) Never been in any of those country b) Aren't the brightest person in the world.
There's a third option, gdp per capita in these countries and Cyprus and I repeat, there's nothing superior about countries' development. I have met many Cypriots and there is nothing superior about them compare to us, they just have a higher income and better quality of life, excluding this we are the same people Czech Republic and Slovakia are some of the most industrial countries in the world with over 35% of total workforce employed in industry. Bosnia, Poland, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Macedonia around 30%. Serbia is behind with 25%, mostly due to NATO and UN bullcrap we had here and negative image. Meanwhile Greece under 15%.

My point is that Balkanic people and especially Serbs really lack the ability to discuss politely and constructively in forums, see the particular serbian guy. I have posted dozens of evidences to support my claims, he has posted nothing than garbage the funny thing is that I'm being polite and civilized here ahahhahahahahahahaa you're the one calling me "insane" and calling my posts "garbage" but I'm happy I made you angry today

But thank God Greece was not part of the majority of these "common empires", and even more Balkan people were not part of the majority of states that Greece was part of,as I previously proved which is one of the reasons that Greece is not part of this "cultural group" that you are talking about, as I Also previously proved. But this simply doesn't make sense, In order for languages to have common influences they have to be under common empires/states.

in my experience Serbs (Dinarics or not) are 100 times more civilized than neo-pseudo-greeks in almost everything.
Just seeing the posts on your average SERBIAN forum and then your average neo-greek forum is enough!!!
pseudo-Greek forum goes like :
Monkeydonia, ounk, arghhh, ounk, gypsy Slavs... ounk, grrr grr grrr subhumans, gringringrin, ounk ounk, lets bomb them, ounk, lets invade , gr grgrgrgrgrg.... gypseis , ounk, gyspso-Slavs, ounk, BulgaroGypsies, ounk ounk...
that's pretty much it.... 200 years under SAXAN occupation was detrimental to our mental state, unfortunately ...
Cyprus is 1000 years ahead of the mainland Greece albanians and vlahs, NOT BECAUSE of England, but because they are MUCH MORE civilized, and closer to ancient Greeks...
Imo it goes like that :
amoeba < neo-pseudo-anti-Greeks < Arvanites < Albs < Vlahs << Cretans < Cypriots < (Serbs/Bulgarians/Slavs - Poles/Czech/Slovaks) < Russians
<< stands for great inequality
< stands for inequality
So when those close to the amoeba criticize the top best, its getting so fucking comical it gets sad...
all the above is according to the common perception.... of course the "official" wiki has another stance on our world... a rather .... distant from reality .... lolz

And Greece, for the 95% of its history (including late history) has been either independent or under the same empires and states with south Europeans rather than Balkan people, resulting more similarities and smaller linguistic distance (I can post many charts) with them than with Balkan slavs, let alone more similar accent The remaining limited 5% of our history that we share with you, resulted the limited similarities with you As for being polite, responding with "hahahahah" and zero evidence to interlocutor's maps, charts, pics, sources etc is not polite at all, but ulf explained me that you are 8 years younger than me,so it's OK

And arguing for yourself is a skill. And Pyrros is greek btw. We're impolite and rowdy here, welcome to the balkans

Is there a freaking mediterranean .... accent?
In Madrid they say TH, in south Spain they say S Italy has no TH only T (just like French, German, SLAVIC) Portugal sounds DEFINITELY SLAVIC Heck, even Cypriots (ancient Greeks) have SO MANY SOUNDS that greeks from Greece lack...
Ipirotic dialect is SO much different than Cypriot, smth like Spanish vs Portuguese.
I repeat, the TRUE GREEKS of the sea have MUCH MORE SIMILARITIES WITH THE BALKAN SLAVS.
I can write pages about it.
Someone posted music...... I can fill more pages with it...
If the one who started the debate wishes to go on, the answer will be firm... and hard to forget ....

And arguing for yourself is a skill. And Pyrros is greek btw. We have limited common influences with you, but the same time overwhelmingly more differences, and overwhelmingly more similarities with Mediterranean Europe And arguing, along with all skills, is something that is developed through time, and you are too young, and have all the future to develop this skill as well. But, a piece of advice, no matters if you disagree or not with the interlocutor, respect his opinion, especially when he is talking about something he obviously knows better than you, like his own country It's better to say "I disagree, but post me some evidence that support your claims" than "you are 100% wrong", as you implied since your very first post As for your last sentence, about the Greek user pyrrus, I am a psychologist myself, but I am not here to discuss with someone who is addicted to post 100 irrelevant things that don't make sense into one post, resulting his ban in many forums that I have met him His posts make as much sense as the neighbors' dog that currently barks, and seriously I can't understand barking, I used to read his posts 1 year ago in other forums, now that I know that there is no hope for him I don't even read them

The main reason why people think Serbia is some backwater country is due to Dinaric Serbs who are more clan-ish. But that has to do with the fact they were resisting and fighting the Ottomans for very long, it negatively influenced this part of society. Also that doesn't mean they are stupid although they have some bad habits. Dinaric serbs are the best
