I met a Vlach from the Serbian Banat. His name is Sava. He is so tiny that you can put him in your pocket and keep him as your pet. But don't let his size fool you. The guy can whistle and yell as if the area he is present in is a field of grass, and all around him are his sheep. Put Zetaman beside him and you'll have your Goliat and David.
We chatted for a while and I noticed that he would sometime sneak a few Serb words when he couldn't remember the Romanian words; or, perhaps when he wasn't aware of their definition. I wasn't grumpy about it and enjoyed our conversations, until I realized that to others he presented himself as Serb, whereas when speaking to me, he acted as if he was Romanian. When introducing himself to me, he clearly called himself Romanian.
When I finally confronted him about this, he backed down and said it wasn't important. Well, what is important, then? If your own identity is not important, then what is important, to you--as an individual, I asked myself. The man was pretty simple and let me repeat myself: he was really tiny. It seems that most Vlachs south of Danube are tiny. It's no wonder they could not defend themselves. To be honest, I don't think they could even manage to wrestle the children of their invaders.
This is the third time I am being tricked by a Vlach from Serbia. Therefore I tell you, Romanians, to let go of these people. They are not worth the effort. Let them call themselves what they want.
PS. This guy had lousy jeans. That sounds familiar, doesn't it?

I met a Vlach from the Serbian Banat. Woman, there are no Vlachs in Banat.

I wouldn't go so far as not calling them people, even though they are clearly the result of several years of inbreeding. The Greeks wouldn't marry them and the Serbs had a law that discouraged intermarriages. They hid in the mountains and hoped to make it easier for God to spot them.
The only people they could mix with were the Turkic Bulgars. We've seen the result on that one.

Yes, sometimes the Vlachs from one mountain would travel to another mountain that was inhabited by other Vlachs, and mate with them. What a great evolution you have there!

As I remember it, the guy also had a funky cowboy hat. Yes, after he slaughtered the pig, the farmer gifted him his hat. But this is another Vlach. This is the guy that claimed that Romanian language once held less than 50-percent Latin vocabulary. When he was proven wrong, he cried. How pathetic one must be to try to raise his manhood by priding himself with slaughtering an animal. You slaughter animals for consumption, not to boost your confidence. So pathetic. These Thumbelina people will do anything to prove their worth, as long as it doesn't challenge their safety.

We showed you the 16th century manuscript of Letopisetul Tarii Moldovei, where one can understand most of everything written there. Oh, and how you cried! I still remember those fake tears. C0gnate bought in the Serbian propaganda and when he realized his mistake, he tried to turn things around and go against the Serbs.

The text was successfully translated to the Latin alphabet without compromising the pronouncation that existed at the time. Look, just leave us alone. We don't have much, but what we have is ours. Go to the Serbian forum.

Someone delete his post. The Romanians in Banat do not consider themselves Vlachs and have alweays called themselves Romanians and been recognized as such. The term Vlach could only apply to Romanians in E. Serbia (i.e. timocka krajina).
Clearly, your claim is a fallacy. For two reasons: - 1. If he called himself a Vlach he could not be from the Banat. - 2. The Banat is not south of the Danube.

Greetings Radovic. Let's sing together:
Ко је Србин и српскога рода, И од српске крви и колена А не дошо на бој на Косово, Не имао од срца порода, Ни мушкога ни девојачкога...
Whoever is a Serb and of Serbian birth, And of Serbian blood and origin, But won't come to the battle of Kosovo, May he never have offspring from his bossom, Neither male, nor female...
Hmmm.
Looks like the song left out the Vlachs, who are known to have participated, along with their cousins the Albanians.

Actually, radovic, I refuse to consider them Romanian. Yes, I know about them being recognized as a Romanian minority, along with the language they barely speak, but I've had enough. If they were such great Romanians, their numbers would not shrink; and they would not be such double-face people, referring to themselves as Serbs when speaking to foreigners and as Romanians when speaking to Romanians.
Take this sad example that we have in this forum: and no, I don't mean his necromancy in enjoying making animals suffer. I mean his poor selfesteem and lack of true engagement in Romania. This dude will refuse to associate himself with the Romanian state and even makes dumb jokes as for calling us the "elites", referring to the Slavic elite that took part in establishing our principalities. He also said that he has no interest in visiting Romania again.
Radovic, do me a favor and ask this reptile why he uploads music videos of his people playing their flute and calling the people playing it for Vlachs? Perhaps they are Vlachs from Timok, but he could still make a reference to them being Aromanians. And all that Serbian writing! Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Radovic, please assimilate them as soon as possible. I can't stand any more of this Vlach-ness!
This guy was raised in a village culture and brings his shepherd nostalgia to this forum. Sorry, but not all of us share these sentiments. Some of us don't think that being cruel to children, women, and animals is cool. Some of us still believe in the old notions that compromised chivalry.

I do.
I love the smell of the mountain in the morning. I love to walk bare-foot in the morning on the grass full with dew while taking the sheep to the pastures. I love to read good books while my sheep graze the grass. I love to sing in the mountains and I love the way the sheep look at me when they hear me singing. I love to eat cheese and fresh roasted lamb. (not killing the lamb) I love the sounds small mountain-river make. I love the forest and the eternal rocks that guarded my ancestors.
I don`t know why you have the impression that anyone who comes from a village is cruel to children, women and animals.
Killing animals is not for fun. It's for eating them.

Serbia will not force them to assimilate. They can do freely as they wish.
