Check what Zoroastranism says about altruism. That's the religion you should belong to, anyways. lol, If you were to choose a religion on basis of its' "nationality" then yeah . I respect the Zoroastrian religion and find it very fascinating and beautiul but it's not for me, personally . I have quite a few family members who are Zoroastrians though .

An important sin? If it's important, then we must employ it. Perhaps you meant to say, " as serious as..." altough I can't figure out where you find this info. Where does it explain the seriousness of sins, and how they compare to each other? Or are you playing Press Manager of Allah, again?

Anittas, it is true that sins are divided into "groups". I'd suggest you to write to a scholar or two and ask them about the criterias for "labelling" a sin as more severe than the next .

Yahac, it is great you left Bulgaria. I don't want people like you in my country. Anyone who compares adultery with killing (under whatever explanation) should be locked somewhere in a remoted cave and left banging his head against the wall while murmuring something from the Quran. Hey, Nilofer, how are you?

Hey Rusey! ;D. I'm okay, thanks...not-enjoying my summer like any other student ;D. Actually, it's not too bad...I manage to enjoy myself a lot along with doing some obligated practice and prepping for exams . Can't wait till the vacation starts, though . How about yourself, how are you doing? It's been a while since I've seen you around! ;D.

I am fine, thank you. How is your family life? Send me a pm, if you want, don't share this in a place where jihadists like Yahac roam

Hey, Nilofer, how are you? Thank you Ruse. I am also happy that I left your dumb country. That made my life more meaningful. As for your wishes and regards toward me. Thank you again. It seems more like you guys got locked up in your misery and short sightedness instead. Enjoy! ;D

Read any of the scriprutes and you will find it. The simple fact that Jews stoned to death the adulters and adultresses may tell you about the seriousnesses of the sin. But probably you don't care about scriptures. Let's make it simple for you. What happens when you commit adultery. You increase the chance of out of marriage pregnancy. The problme with this is that most of the time the act of adultery doesn't aim to build a serious long lasting commitment. Then what. You either do abortion or let it be born. Say you choose to do abortion. First you kill a baby, second you put the mother to risk of death by bleeding or sepsis. Also iflammatory pelvic disease because of the poor hygienic condition of many illegal abortions, as a result of which the woman may loose her fertility.
So far no problem? May be for you it is OK, but not for me... Well, what about the humiliation that the mother has to undergo? Fathers in those cases are not affected that much, but it is the woman that will suffer the shame and all of the consequences. And especially if she chooses to keep her baby the life becomes very tough for her. She may need to scrifice her everything in order to achieve that. If her family abandons her then she may need to quit her education and start working in a low pay job. Just think about the difficulties that the mother and the child need to overcome. It can never be a normal life. As the child grows up the mother would get more questions about the "father" by her child. Fatherless child is never the same as one with one. One wing is broken. It is more difficult to repare the damage and more difficult to fly.
May all of those have anything to do with the seriousness of adultery as a sin? If you ask me, yes! Adultery is a serious sin!
Oh let's not forget about HIV and sexually transmitted deseases. I don't know anyone with AIDS who would defend adultery once they got the desease. Also those with cervical cancer, too. Or what about the innocent spouses who catch HIV or Hep C from their spouses. Or about the babies that are born with HIV? Is that still OK? Do we have to suffer too much to understand the seriousness of this sin?! Does it worth it? I don't think so...
PEACE
