Well it aint anything new to glamorise a battle, venerate a leader imortalise a situation its been happening ever since people fought wars (Classic example is Ramses and the battle of Kadesh) what cannot be played with is the outcome/result. If you wipe away the romance and look at it in reality Nesris account is probably the most accurate although you canmot accept his view 100% either. Serbia was fracturing and Nobles where pulling Serbia apart so it is reality that the Sultan would take advantage and offer rewards, title and lands for servitude and it is natural to assume feuding lords would see the reality of their situation and take up the offers. I think the Serbs deep down know this is reality and was a case of survival, opurtunity etc, although I doubt they could ever accept Lazar as being a vassal although once you look at the situations in Serbia at the time and the minor battles fought I would easily say he was, as Nesri accounts, and later he rebeled. With the Serbs they have been taught the romanticized version and this is how they see it and to accept anytthing else is to somehow sell out, there is a lot of national pride that is attached to the romanticised version so I understand why they defend what they have been taught ferociously, but this isnt just solely the Serbs, many a battle from many a state has been romanticised to the point of legend, but these countrys have had time and relative peace to emerge from the medieval state of God, Church, King, Country.

to truly investigate their history and roots of heritage, culture and language they must read the original texts in their own monasteries across their lands. You will be shoked to hell when you finally damn right get smacked in the back of the head of the true nature of your peoples' on how you have backstabbed your own to absolute extremities. I haven't yet had the oppertunity to investigate these monasteries but I will after Romania. ...... When you go to Albania to visit the churches in search of ancient history I will buy you a beer or as many as you like. I'll even help you get started on your quest and point you in the direction of the oldest existing church I know of, Labova of the Cross, built up on the 13th century upon the older foundations laid down by Justinian in the 550's AD. www.gjirokastra.org/sub_links/visiting_sub/visiting_labove.htmlmaybe followed by Zvërnec Monastery of St. Mary (14th cent.) or you can go back even further (but in greater state of ruin) to the Basilica of Ballsh en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basilica_of_Ballshand of course the great basilica of Butrint www.butrint.org/explore_11_0.php

Swing all you want rex chap ... the battle of Kosovo has nothing to do with identity you sick puss. Everything is else is just icing I am arguing from a foundational perspective which beats all your claims.
You argue with superficiality, cheapness, the what's hot mentality etc... You're not Albanian, you are a product of what the Ottomans have injected into our lands.

see....you have been misinformed or miss-educated ,and then you blame me for getting my diploma from the internet ...HA ! Keep note, that you're not an Albanian you're a product of what the Ottomans injected into Balkan. Real Albanians are as they are, Albanians. You're a poser, a conformist ready to be molded in any which way.

By the way Rex chap, why are you going all over the place like ping pong = Albanian invention ... you know damn well the topic of this thread and as a moderator I am disappointed you cannot set an example. Anyway on top of all your failures... read again... to truly investigate their history and roots of heritage, culture and language they must read the original texts in their own monasteries across their lands. You will be shoked to hell when you finally damn right get smacked in the back of the head of the true nature of your peoples' on how you have backstabbed your own to absolute extremities. I haven't yet had the oppertunity to investigate these monasteries but I will after Romania. You have to accept no matter what religion you are that the Churches were recording first hand what was going on from every level and angle perspective of society. This isn't some bird's eye view, far away foreign perspective writings with hidden motives linked to some yahood money, these are IT. I say this humbly despite my opinions, anyone can only gain from this sort of experience. and stay on topic... thanks in advance. your buddy, the professional.

and it still continues to this day... the erasing of your own history... Ancient church frescoes created by renowned icon painter Onufri stolen in Albania Damaged frescoes painted by Albania's most famous medieval painter Onufri in The St Paraskevi church in the village of Vlash. A 16th century Orthodox church, considered a jewel of Albania's culture and being part its national heritage, was vandalised while some parts of its frescoes were stolen, an official said on January 16, 2013. AFP PHOTO / STR. www.artdaily.org/index.asp?int_sec=11&int_new=60196What's this hate about, why the racism and discrimination solely based on religion... I thought you were an enlightened people that never went through the trivial command of religion. This stuff isn't worth money so it's purely hate related. this is the real deal... although your state of denial will indeed get the better of you. Me no gives a f**k. Look what the priority is for most Muslim Albanians. Brooklyn Resident from Albania Sentenced to 15 Years’ Imprisonment for Attempting to Support Terrorism www.fbi.gov/newyork/press-releases/2013/brooklyn-resident-from-albania-sentenced-to-15-years-imprisonment-for-attempting-to-support-terrorismps. you should get your allegiences in check cause when the pot boils over you're all going to be scowering in every direction.
