I don't go to church, like the inside of it, but I do like waking up early on Sunday, going outside the church, and pointing and laughing at the people going in.

Only thing that shouldn't be allowed is personal attacks, against specific posters. But posting a comedians joke is different.

I hope Bosnia gets economically strong but if we ever become a workaholic nation, BIH loses a lot of its appeal imo. How is Bosnia going to become economically strong without becoming a workaholic nation though? People have to work, to produce, to earn money and then to spend that money so the economy can grow. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you, western life is sad in comparison to Balkan life. We just work and work with very little time to enjoy life. But this if why western nations are so rich. Always growing, always producing something. Bosnia will never be rich in the sense of being a top nation because we simply don't have the pop. to make it happen. We can be a good and stable economic nation but we wont be as good as even the smallest state in the USA. For me rich in the BIH sense means that there is opportunity for people to get an education, that we have a very low unemployment, and we have sectors of expertise. A lot of it is efficiency. If we will be an agriculture nation once again we need that. Basically, more efficiency in the things we do, even though we don't work 24/7. If we just did tourism and agriculture, how do you create more jobs in those areas and how do you make it so efficient that we get back great revenue? That is what its all about.

My dad was offered a 50k card because he's never missed a payment and he's always been responsible but the difference is he knows what he makes so he knows not to go above 10kk..which he can easily pay. My dad can easily make an extra 3-4k during a summer and make a huge payment back. But the ability to get that means that during the year he can have what he wants without worrying about ability to pay back. Its a HUGE luxury.

You can't discredit something as valuable as credit because people use it in shitty ways.
The ability to get credit is the single most important factor in terms of quality of life and opportunity. The reason credit is given is because there is a belief that people can pay it back. And it's not an ignorant position. You can easily get a job in Canada or the USA. There is a million coffee shops, a million shops, its just a question of do you want to work. If you've educated yourself, you are getting top salaries for the work you do. You get credit because you have a work history in the first place. You get it based on what you make. The bad situations with credit come from dumb personal decisions.
Don't get me wrong, people do dumb things with credit, some always will, but it doesn't make credit bad.
Take me for an example. I was able to get 10k credit, and my payment monthly was a measly $100 up to that level. That means my life doesn't have to stop. I can live a high standard of life everyday. I can take money out for school. I can take a small trip. I can use it to go out to nice restaurants. I am not falling behind because my payment is easy to make. And I know I can pay it back because I'll never run out of work.

Funny that back in good old Yuga, my grandparents seemed to just work and work but for not much in return. So was it only a few that worked lol? Well, the way I see it is two ways: If you lived in a small town or village, (a good majority of people) you basically live a very natural life already. You use the land for growing food even if you don't farm and stuff. You are usually always around family because you have a long history in that area. You know loads of people in your village or town. Your daily life is basically independent even though it is hard work. Your kids grow up with the appreciation of that work and usually continue it. But its always social, with loads of family around, and doing a lot of fun but simple stuff. For example, my family didn't farm, but we did grow certain foods, while my dad worked overseas. Kids help out but they just view it as part of living life, its not some chore. That last point being the big difference with city kids. I think there is the same socializing type in the cities but I think the kids there don't feel they have to work till much older..so their parents do a lot more work while they have fun. But its fair that way. I mean you let your kids have fun till 25, or whenever they get married, and then they do the same for their kids. I mean I think it should be that way, let your kids have fun, let them concentrate on education, and then when they get married, whatever, then they can do the same. It's always going to be different for kids in cities vs towns,(mostly opportunity and stuff) but point being, I think its cool that for both, they get to socialize over work, no matter where they live.

There is a balance missing but man there is a big issue as well when life becomes about work and materialism.
That is basically the Bosnian diaspora for you.
"I have a better car than you" "I have a house and you don't" "My kid is going to University for this and that"
It's ridiculous.
For me, the uniqueness of our people is the small town attitude that radiates throughout the whole country. Since we are a country made up of small towns and cities. The attitude to put socializing, friends, family, over materialism, work and money.
It absolutely sickness me to see people working 24/7, stuck in their homes, and being contempt because that is the Western version of success.
The good part is, its not like that everywhere. Here in Quebec, the french part of Canada, in places like Montreal, those people still know how to live.
I hope Bosnia gets economically strong but if we ever become a workaholic nation, BIH loses a lot of its appeal imo.

So I understand there is probably about 30-40% unemployment, with a lot of people working in the black market. But I was wondering, due to the fact that BIH is still rebuilding an developing, and I guess there is still a lot of traumatized people following the war...
are there jobs, no matter the pay, that are in fairly high demand?
Like if you are in construction, is it easy to find a job like that? If you are some kind of counselor or something like that, is it easy to find jobs in that area?

Well about lenght vs width, I don't think that's not know that it's a preference. About the size, I think straight women are more willing to compromise on that than gay men. Simply reason really; women are stupid and they compromise on everything :-) there was studies done and apparently they found gay men were more hung than straight guys. something biological which might explain why people are gay as well. but yeah, in the gay community, its pretty important.

Illyria suggested we start a thread for just him, so let's do it.
I'll go from the beginning to the recent songs and share with you my favourite Halid songs. The old songs trump the new imo.
Gresnica and Ne budi mi nadu (1979)
Pjesma samo o njoj
Gitara i casa vina
Put me zove
Necu necu dijamante
To be continued...
