The 1984 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XIV Olympic Winter Games, were a winter multi-sport event which was celebrated in Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was at the time part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Other candidate cities were Sapporo, Japan; and Gothenburg, Sweden. It was the first Winter Games and the second Olympics held in a socialist country (the first was the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow). The chart's information comes from the International Olympic Committee Vote History web page.

Memory of a sweat dream that was YUGOSLAVIA.for who exactly? For the people who lived in peace and were forced from their homes due to the actions of a few.

^ Were you one of them? Were your parents one of those people? I don't think so. If it wasn't for nationalists, I'd be where I belong, and the family and friends I lost, would be alive.
