THE LAND OF MODERN SOUTH ALBANIA (NORTH GREEK EPIROS) ONCE WAS OURS.Ancient Greek temples in Albania.A fragment of a tablet recovered from the Albanian site. (Image courtesy of University of Cincinnati) About eight miles outside the city of Fier are the ruins of the ancient city of Apollonia ... uncovered from a 1000-year nap. The Monument of Agonothetes dominates these ruins. Opposite the Monument of Agonothetes is the city's Odeon or small theater. Large enough for 200 spectators, it hosted musical recitals and held philosophical discussions. While most of Apollonia is still buried in the hill, archeologists uncovered numerous statues along this colonnade that leads to the center of the Apollonia. www.google.gr/images?hl=el&q=Ancient+greek+temple+in+Albania&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1024&bih=647

I am outraged with the unaccountable propaganda exposed here! Almost all of sources brought up here are intentionally truncated from their context. It's really annoying how some Greeks managed to twist the account of Ptolemy, where he allegedly said that Epirus was "primordial Greece". I've not found any original quote so far. Therefore, Greek nationalists owe to their readers an explanation about how come such a quote from Ptolemy, when it's impossible to find that in his accounts?

www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/190156/EpirusAfter the Mycenaean civilization declined, Epirus was the launching area of the Dorian invasions (1100–1000 bc) of Greece. The region’s original inhabitants were driven southward by the Dorians, and out of the ensuing migrations three main clusters of Greek-speaking tribes emerged in Epirus: the Thesproti of southwestern Epirus, the Molossi of central Epirus, and the Chaones of northwestern Epirus. They lived in clusters of small villages, in contrast to most other Greeks, who lived in or around city-states. hahah molosi are true albs...!!!!!!!!!
