Maybe, who cares, they did it and I welcome it. The more Albanians are alienated from your s**tty people, the better. The more Greece does to piss us off, the happier I become. Please, elect nationalists who will want to revive Northern Epirus, mistreat Alb migrants, burn our flags. To us Albs who want nothing to do with your country, it makes us smile. You know Melty I won't resort to insulting you... but take a breather.. cause I think you are heading for a breakdown..You have shown all the symptoms..I am telling you this for you're own good..

Haha Canari tell me what shall we do with him? ;D Well I dunno...He is hopeless.... 12 measly years in the USA.... and he thinks he is Superman.... Maybe we can show some of the stuff he writes here beaming out of the Binghampton University's ip's and get him deported... Good possibility under the American hate laws...

^^^ You know it's sad.... Greek Americans have contributed so much to the United States and are good people for the most part. I am very puzzled by this Albanian's attempt to insult and degrade our people. Who is he and where does he get the clout. Melty, fawk you and the horse you rode in on malaka. YOUR IN MY COUNTRY YOU PEICE OF CHIT... SHOW SOME RESPECT. Your disrespecting millions of Greek Americans.
If I used your logic some Albanian American must suffer now... who would you prefer to suffer? Your mother? Father? Sister? Grandmother? Grandfather? Wife? HONESTLY BRO YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH.

Only one with an inferiority complex is you Karcar. You have Orthodox pride but you try to distinguish yourself from a Greek, so you pretend to hate them as well. Deep down we know you really love the Greek suxhuk.

Karcari sateme...i dont "try" to do anything because i dont have to "try" at all, even if i was Muslim i would be the same way, anyone can behave like an insecure ape, but not everyone can debate normally no matter how much u hate someone...the only one who can do that here is Donnie, Albquietman, and maybe 1 or 2 others, the rest of u sound like ur whinning all the tiem, it doesnt really matter what ur arguing about, but the way u argue u come off as "uncvilized" backward, Turk-worshipper, unoriginal, and very...Albanian...what they expect and waht they want to see. and u forget that one of the most famous and smartest Albanians of all time, Fan Noli, was Orthodox...he was smart and patriotic too, but diplomatic, a diplomat can make u think u r thier best friend even if they hate u an d given the opportunity they would destroy u. was that too complicated for u "logic"? or r us still looking up the word "logic" in the dictionary? its ok, take ur time.

You'll won't find too many of my posts praising the Turks because I'm simply indifferent towards them. I understand the past and I simply don't like what the Ottoman Empire did to us, but on the other hand, modern Turkey has done much to improve their relations with Albania. In 97' they had Albania's back when the Greeks threatened to calm the situation, they have recognized Kosova and have championed for our side many times. So it's a mixed feeling at best. Personally I have no problem with Orthodox Albanians, none what so ever. But I do have a problem with extremist, especially dumb ones such as yourself. Truth be told, I don't even like many of Melty's posts either, but I atleast sense a sarcasm from his post, you on the other hand are too stupid to pull something like that off. Simply stated, I don't care for your attitude or any one who shares the same attitude as yours. And you take that dictionary and learn how to f**king spell. You write like a f**king 12 year old from myspace. OMGZZZ DoooDDDDDDD

I understand the frustration from both parts. Talking about this discussion and playing devil's advocate, I must say that Melty is right at one point (he may hate Greeks, he may not, it is his business - at least he says what he thinks); the point is that in the course of history I haven't noticed Greece to have taken any good stance when it comes to Albanians, and, worse of all, is Kosovo's independence issue. You Greeks (as Basil says) "always remember what was done to you and never forget...even if one Greek remains alive..." or something like that...now, you are asking Kosovars to love you guys, when what they were going through was not an individual or group of people but the sovereignty of a country, a dream made reality after so many centuries...and you Greeks, risk it all with your disapproval... Kanaris, you are not angry at Melty "hating" Greeks, but at him expressing it so openly...(I am not implying that I hate Greeks but I don't express it...for it is out of my conception to hate)...I am just stating that even if some Greeks (who are many) tend moderately not to express their hate and disgust for Albanians, they simply can't hide it. They don't show it in words but put it in action, directly or indirectly. One of these exhibition (I think) was supporting Serbs when there was a genocide involved...such a position from the very place where democracy was born...and Greeks tend to abuse the term saying "because we are a democrat country we don't recognize Kosovo's independence", whereas in fact, there are other reasons...they supported Serbs as a consequence supported their genocide while the whole world was condemning it...Greeks were against NATO bombing Serbian military points (not the country-this is a wrong perception), when the entire world was thinking that was the only way to stop genocide after seeing that Serbs did not intend to stop it (Bosnia is a proof of it)...and you Greeks do not feel comfortable when some young boy come here to tell you that he doesn't particularly like you? I would have found all bizarre and I would have been worried if the contrary were true!... I think there is a good suggestion for both parts: liking and disliking emerges as consequence of what we do to deserve it in daily life...same applies to Greeks and Albanians. We must learn to appreciate people for good things and reprimand for bad things. The question is: how good is good and how bad is bad? Just look through history and you'll find the answer.... PS: I hope nobody hates me now...even though I will find it hard to believe.

T.... you don't understand.... I will respect someone like AlbQ or some other Albanian that has lived among he Greeks and has has a negative outcome. What I don't respect or accept is a pubescent boy like Melty who left Albania 12 years old... and calls Greeks 'shitty people and gypsies' and you people feed him on..... His total portrayal of Greeks comes from this forum. Same goes for Insomniac and some others. I have met Albanians and Kosovars and some of the pukes in this forum are not representative of them.

Kanaris, my friend, so you admit that there is a negative outcome of Greeks towards Albanians, do you? As per representatives, I think everyone presents him/herself here and no one applies to any nation whatsoever...as per calling names...again it is individual and momentary.

You guys, and I mean Melty and some others here are talking in the same way that some greeks do here, and by that I mean going back in time, see what happened back then and without even thinking, applying it in today's world...the past is a history, and if you see that some greeks here live in the past, that doesn't mean that all greeks do. Of course there are extremists in every country, and Greece is not an exception, but Albania is not an exception either.
Since you're going back in time, history tells us that greeks and albanians always lived side by side, even fought together against one enemy sometimes. Politics is a different thing, and one shouldn't confuse politics with people. Of course politicians can brainwash people, and that's what I was talking about in my previous posts, but at the end of the day, greeks are people like us.
The truth is that when the massive immigration started, were the ordinary greek people that helped the penniless albanian immigrants. They gave them food, shelter and jobs...well after several months, things weren't as great as before, but that was a kind of understandable, Greece never had seen such a big flux of immigrants before...but still, the fact that there are close to 600.000 albanians working and living there, tells us that greeks aren't as bad as you try to picture them here...think about if we albanians were in the greek shoes...well, I don't know if anyone of you remembers the chechens in Tirana...actually they weren't chechens, they were albanian highlanders from North Albania which migrated to Tirana...even today people in Tirana look down on them.
What I'm trying to say is that things are not as bad as some of you are trying to picture here. Of course there are issues between Greece and Albania, but that doesn't mean that we have to go Turkey to find relief, because, if we go back in time again, the only thing I see in ottoman times, is 500 years in darkness and without a national identity...
